Chill said we probably rounded up 60 games in 2 days but to be honest, I wouldn't be surprised if some of us played more than that. I don't think many of them, if any, would write an article like that.

"BEEP BEEP BEEP THE VESPENSE GEYSER IS EMPTY". Yeah constant awareness and timing.....MORA ITS TIME TO PULL THE SCVS OFF GAS...AWW COME ON AI!....FINE ILL DO IT FOR YOU.

that's like saying the brilliance that is found in the timing of oov's macro comes from his ability to send his workers to gather minerals. keeping track of what your gas income rate is and when it shuts down is pretty critical when it comes to macroing isn't it? If you're not gonna collect gas until it comes back online, is that information not pertinent? Perhaps i don't understand the mechanic well enough - i was under the impression that you stop collecting gas when it goes offline. So if you need to produce a unit that costs gas... and you're not collecting gas... hmmm... well at least the important part is puttng 3 scvs back on an worker-saturated mineral line!

Is it possible to somewhere see the parameters of the build that is discussed here? I wonder what could have been so wrong with the Colossus that it was considered useless!

The new gas mechanic is gross. Chill has a rather open mind about it, but again I find it forced. If automine is removed, this stupid attempt to make macro harder (ironically after simplifying it) can be removed. How is having a geyser shut down every few minutes while making an extremely annoying beeping interesting or beneficial at all? In the late game, when there are 6-8 gasses mining and 60+ scvs mining, why would anyone be bothered to move 3 scvs at the shutdown geyser to minerals? There is little advantage to be gained from mastering this mechanic, and thus little potential to add to the game beyond annoying players. To address those that find manual mining tedious: I find manual mining necessary because proficiency at this skill alone can create a huge skill gradient. I don't find another explanation necessary, nor I am well versed enough in the argument on this topic to elaborate. Was this really a thing at some point?

The geysirs just shut down every couple of minutes and your SCV would idle there.
