I just moved into a new hostel in Hyehwa (Seoul) tonight and there was a really loud concert going on close to where I'm staying. I decided to go and find out what what going on (and stupidly did not take my camera.)
As I was walking along (in borrowed/stolen house slippers.) I heard the opening bars of Epik High's 'The One.' and began to run.
I came out from a massive hill onto some basketball courts and saw the bright lights of a stage. Down several flights of steps and there it was - the stage, surrounded by a few hundred people.
I couldn't quite believe it was Epik High actually performing live. It's been a dream of mine to see them perform (I've seen all my other favourite groups since I've lived here at least once.)
And here on a totally random Tuesday night after going to Proleague I finally got the opportunity. They sang Love, love, love,' 'Fly' and 'Fan' and threw water and roses into the crowd. The encore was a remix of Love, Love, Love.'
I'm definitely going to make the effort to go to one of their full on concerts now. They're amazing live. I'd recommend to anyone who has the chance - go see them too.
