I mean the historically feeble TIMBERWOLVES are the 7th seed for crying out loud lol. Kawhi being out all season and the Lakers being an absolute disaster have really thrown off what would typically be the normal balance of power in the Western Conference. It's much more impressive that The Grizzlies are the second seed despite missing Ja Morant for nearly a third of the season and of course the Suns having the NBA best record and being hands down the best in the NBA despite not having any true superstar player on the roster.

He's already considered to be the greatest NBA coach of all time, and he's a slam dunk Hall of Famer the second he retires. He doesn't need any more personal glory, he's just doing this shit because he doesn't like to lose.

Popovich, Jackson, Aurbach in that order. Anything else is ridiculous.

Team was composed of all established veterans and all of them either didn't click or regressed horrifically. He went and started scoring a bunch, but his efficiency numbers dropped from his career average and the record tanked. You could tell he didn't care a lick about playing defense either. Not saying his usual "make others around him better" approach would have done any better with this squad, but Lebron in the latter half of the season was a straight up ball hog who didn't play any defense and didn't make anyone else around him better. It was very different than the Lebron you're used to seeing.

AD just can't stay healthy. If your championship window is 10 years, maybe you'll have 2-3 years where the stars align. Hey, it happened once, though that was with a multi month pause due to COVID. Without all that midseason rest, he probably gets hurt somewhere along the way. They had little shooting in the team. What little they had was injured or slumping. Westbrook wasn't a good fit at all. He's a very willing shooter version of Ben Simmons. Nets fans better be careful what they wish for.
