Would you like to propose a solution? I'm just curious, because it seems like a fairly reliable way to win a pvz regardless of the stature of your opponent. A bit like the soultrain of old

Trap playstyle is a bit on the "greedy" side of the build, and he need to get a small window of opening to boost his economy and army count. Lambo has been excellent at using those window timing and push into Trap and broke him open.

Lambo 4-2 Trap. Congrats SR for advancing.

Wild, Lambo winning the BO7 :O Sick stuff from Shopify Rebellion.

Damm Lambo ZvP outside of the queen meme, its quite good.

Impressive from Lambro, a true mvp! I hope Trap's PvZ in Code S will be better than the one he showed online in the last weeks, his chances will otherwise be greatly diminished.

Year of H̵a̵r̵s̵t̵e̵m̵ Lambo.

Really impressive performance from Lambo Scarlett and Byun. Congratulations on the win, and GL next vs Kaizi!

Clem did play the toughest schedule among all the Terran players, like facing against every single Ace from each top team, and he had a fairly good record against those guys. I could see their reasoning base on that, but it would be more convincing had Team Liquid made the playoff though.

Here's a rough translation via DeepL from the official awards thread on scboy:
Perhaps the regular season, especially the opening rounds, was too impressive; perhaps the expectations for INnoVation were too high, but despite not being able to lead TL into the playoffs, TL. "Clem won the title of Best Terran in the regular season. As the single core of the team, Clem beat Rogue and Dark in consecutive matches against DPG to lead the team to victory, and contributed to an exciting TvT battle with TY, Maru and INnoVation; on the other hand, he also became the biggest victim of the league's tactical targeting. In terms of talking points, he really deserves the title MVP.

Maybe they didn't want to give it to Maru because of his relatively easy schedule or to INno because Clem beat him 2-0?
I think it should have been INno by quite a lot, he didn't drop any maps when he shouldn't, won both of his ace match and 2-0 Trap and Rogue. Apart from losing to Clem and maybe dropping a map to DRG he's been excellent all season long.
Clem had a great result in the DPG match and vs INno, but he also missed multiple opportunity to give his team a playoff spot with two ace lost and a drop map to Coffee (and to TY too although that's understandable).

I dont think Inno was in the convesation because he wasnt even the best player on the Kaizi team, it was Solar. Schedule-wise Inno schedule wasnt that much tougher than Maru and Cure and he had worse record than them. Granted he gave them 2 important wins on AF and DPG (which was not meaningful because the playoff seed has already been set), Solar also perform great in those matches as well.

Ok, maybe "by quite a lot" was a bit of an exageration, but I still think it's INno, Solar was arguably better this season, but INno still was very solid all season long.
That's if you don't want to give MVP and Best terran to the same guy, if not I agree it's Cure.

ByuN actually managed to take away Inno's air advantage but it was still not enough
|
What suprising was depsite Inno CC got delayed so much by Byun Reaper, it was still finished ahead of Byun 2nd CC. Was there not enough mineral for Byun to start his 2nd CC earlier?
