We are currently speaking with potential players about tryouts and joining the team. Please read the bottom of the post for more info!!
www.aftermathesports.com Hello friends, it has been a very long time since I've been active on TL, or within the SC2 community in general, but today I am excited to announce that my new eSports organization afterMath eSports is venturing into Starcraft II. For those of you who don't remember me, I am a previous player for Team Legion and former team captain of FXOpen North America, as well as one of the first few players to participate in the Poland based practice house, Ministry of WiN.
Starting an eSports organization has been a dream of mine since before I even left FXO back in 2013, but due to other dreams being more prevalent and real life getting in the way, I haven't had the opportunity to devote the time needed to nurture the growth required to succeed. After speaking with former teammate Derek 'TheoRy' Travisano about my plans to start an org, we got talking about starting a SC2 team to help breathe air into the community and give aspiring players an organization to learn from and grow with. We both have a lot of love for the game and want to do what we can to keep it alive, which is where afterMath eSports comes into play. Our vision for this team is to be competitive and maintain a focus on improvement but also be a team that feels like a tight knit group of friends that you look forward to chilling with day to day. With that being said, I am excited to announce the first player added to our roster as well as our head coach-
Jacob 'Albino' Long
Jacob ‘Albino’ Long started playing StarCraft II in 2019 at 16 years old, with no previous RTS experience. He achieved Grandmaster league within 8 months. Jacob is a macro Zerg player and grew up playing Counterstrike and Call Of Duty. He owes his love of gaming to his first Game Boy in 2010 playing Pokémon Pearl.
Derek 'TheoRy' Travisano
TheoRy is a full-time engineer who enjoys playing StarCraft in his spare time. Before graduating college, he actively participated in the budding StarCraft scene on teams like FXO and Legion. While he competitively enjoys a handful of other games (such as Dota, CS:GO, and DDR), he is particularly proud of being a Worlds Pokémon TCG player. Despite his best efforts to shake his StarCraft addiction, he has never been able to fully ditch the itch. Now, washed-up and laden with real-world responsibilities, he looks forward to molding the next generation of StarCraft players into gosu legends as a coach for AfterMath esports... even if they don't play Protoss.
While we are currently in talks with a few other players about joining the team, we are always looking for the right players to join our ranks. Our focus is on high master/grand master players who are looking for the support system to help bring their game to the next level and find a like minded group of players to practice with. If you are looking for more information or would like to talk directly, please use the "contact us" page on our website at

I appreciate you taking the time to read through our announcement and I look forward to the future!

And I think it's awesome that Derek is your coach. Derek was one of my ace players back when I was manager of FXO NA, so I know that he's going to do a fantastic job! Feel free to reach out to me if you ever need help with anything. I'll do my best to help you guys out in any way that I can! Hey buddy long time! Thanks for the words of support. I miss the days of FXO.NA, those were really good times. I am excited to see what we can build here and continue expanding into other games as well.

This is awesome, good luck to future endeavors. However, I also still title it as eSports as well. You can tell who's been around the scene for some time when they label it as eSports.

I'm new to all this so I'm just going with the flow hahaha

Love it!! New young players is the lifeblood of the scene

Hey this is cool news, good luck!
Albino certainly seems like a hard worker and great talent, if sc2 was his first RTS and he only started playing last year! Will definitely keep an eye out for him!
