He’s basically there already, I’d have that timeframe at 6 months. By the way anyone know if there are rebroadcasts or replay packs coming out of this? I was only able to dip in and out of Clem/Serral Just open the ESL.tv channel on Twitch, go to past broadcasts and watch the VOD

Serral does need to tighten up his play though, the serral of games 1 and 5 could win the season finals, but if he shows play like in games 2 & 3, I doubt he'll manage. I mean he's dominated the players that will represent EU in this tourney. As for the KR players (others shouldn't be a real threat) I think he's comfortable vs PartinG and Trap. It's hard to assess what he would do vs the T, especially Maru since we haven't seen much from him, but he'll contend for sure. I think Maru hates playing cross server so he might not be comfortable playing. Could make Inno in particular scarier than him.
People wanted Serral vs Maru, but INnoVation became his actual Terran rival. They’ve faced each other in so many tournament games, including semifinals and finals. INnoVation has the best record against Serral of any Terran.

Clem is a great player with a bright future, but he is punching above his weight imo. Lets be honest here tho, Clem and Reynor are the same age and entered the scene at about the same time, it IS a factor considering the foreign scene has been zerg dominated since the Stephano days back in WoL.
Reynor was playing in the Code S when he was 15 and has been eliminating and taking series' off elite koreans and serral in offline premier tournaments for a while now.
Reynor and Clem are the same age but they are different prospects imo.

Since we know the pool of players for the season finals now (8 T, gosh ! I love T so I don't mind, but that's quite a lot of marines), does anyone know when the groups will be determined ?
edit : I didn't understand what Serral said in the end (after he said "can I add something"), anyone caught that ?
edit2 : and I'm silly, we still don't know who qualifies in NA

Could be 9 Terran, future still might make it

I don't really remember their first encounter in this tournament, I think I didn't watch it. Do people who've seen the games see a glimpse of hope for Big Gabe ?
DeMu predicting the 3-0 Reynor, so maybe not too hot prospects ^^

Serral’s almost underrated now based on the crazy high standards he set for himself a year or two ago. Merely consistently placing high and doggedly making it through rather than winning all the time and 3-0ing everyone.

DeMu predicting the 3-0 Reynor, so maybe not too hot prospects ^^ it was pretty onesided, although I can see gabe pulling out some mech wins

I know, my point is that saying that hes punching above his belt is disengenuous, Clem doing better in the best patch for TvZ in a long while is not a coincidence, not in a scene were zerg has completely dominated and terran has been the worst performing.

Gabe almost looked like he was going to take it 2-1 but then he insta lost the game in a strange way. But he also won game 2 in a ridiculous game that probably won't happen again.
Reynor is favoured for sure but last time there were opportunities and im sure it'll be the case again.
