Finalists
2v2 Finalists
A total of 31 maps were submitted to this category.
Divergence | Marras
- Features a short rush distance, but the most direct path through the center is difficult to navigate through.
- With the pocket gold expansions and straightforward expansion layout, macro games are more likely to take place.
Efflorescence | themusic246
- Main and natural base setup is reminiscent of the layout of Shrines of Lizul, although this map is much more macro-oriented.
- The mirrored but compact layout makes taking later expansions easy while leaving them open to attacks on multiple fronts.
Emerald City | RQM
- This is the largest 2v2 finalist map, with a relatively safe expansion layout.
- Gold bases are available for later aggressive strategies.
Golden Kingdom | Superouman
- Created by Superouman, the same mapmaker who won TLMC1 with Cloud Kingdom. This map’s layout was clearly inspired by the former’s.
- Short paths are relatively easy to defend with tighter choke points, while longer paths allow for more free movement.
Rhoskallian | Namrufus
- Expansions are relatively defensible, with watchtowers providing vision over two of the main three attack paths.
- This is one of the most standard 2v2 finalists out of the five.
3v3 Finalists
A total of 28 maps were submitted to this category.
Bone Temple | Superouman
- Natural expansions are easily secured, but third bases will require team coordination in order to hold successfully.
- Overall a simple and easy to understand map, but there are many possibilities for how a game can progress.
Jungle Depths | Xancake
- A large and tricky map with lots of potential attack paths and expansion layouts. Rocks along the edges of the map open up further attack paths as the game progresses.
- There are a number of long, narrow, winding paths that can gain an opportunistic player an advantage.
Khalai Terrace | Meavis
- This map features a safe, ordinary expansion pattern for all players.
- While bases are relatively safe, there are plenty of attack paths to be exploited.
Rose Motel | RQM
- While there are lots of expansions on this map, team coordination is required in order to not be unexpectedly split up.
- Rocks in key locations, such as under the central LoS blockers, make defense easier in the early game.
Whitewater Line | NewSunshine
- The smallest 3v3 finalist, with a standard layout, has a different, less complex take on 3v3 layouts.
- Pathways along with the expansion layouts were heavily inspired by those found in 1v1 maps.
4v4 Finalists
22 maps were entered into this category.
Momentos | NewSunshine
- While one team member spawns further away from the other three, each team has a relatively small area to defend early on.
- Lots of potential for hidden strikes through side pathways as well as risky expansion-taking at a player’s discretion.
Multiprocessor | -NegativeZero-
- 2.5 bases are available per player on this semi-fortress style map. Coordination is needed to take additional bases, although they are within reach.
- A backdoor path connects the two sets of two players on each team.
Nunc Fluens | Timmay
- A semi-fortress map with a plethora of expansions outlining the colorful low ground area.
- The central high ground creates multiple points of contention.
Shipwrecked | themusic246
- A small number of RMTs guard the central bases from air harassment while being isolated from the main ground paths.
- Overall, players can expand at their own pace, but they should try to coordinate and secure one of the corner areas.
Sunset Valley | Marras
- Natural expansions are quite separated compared to the connected main bases, but blocked off gold bases serve as a backup tool for finding income.
- The center features many potential attack paths and is outlined by several bases to be fought over later on.
Vote!

Of course, we encourage you to post which maps you voted for and to have a discussion about which maps you like best as well!
You have until Friday, Aug 17 6:59am GMT (GMT+00:00) to cast your votes for your favorite TLMC maps, after which the winners will be announced.
