Not sure why you would go Arteta over Veira personally but that's just me xD Veira made quite a number of negative remarks on Wenger and Arsenal after he left. Anyone who criticises Wenger gets the boot no matter who you are, even as a former club captain. While Arteta and Henry are also former captains who held their tongue.

Also all those players that won everything multiple times and got raises every other year while never leaving the club (not that it's a terrible thing) don't help.

England have fallen into that trap far to many times in the past. my lineup would be something like Butland? Stones Cahill Jones Walker Young Dier Sterling Ali Lingard ( I really like this kid) Kane I think Pope Walker Stones Cahill Young Dier Henderson Sterling Ali Rashford Kane

The problem is that he's not the best profile to play in 4-4-2, and as long as Messi and Suarez are in the team, it seems like it's going to be the preferred tactic.

Both lineups achieve roughly the same objective with young and walker having license to push up and they will have to if England is going to score goals against lesser teams

If not, he'll stay for sure. He's super talented, a bit like Neymar he needs to build some muscle first so he doesn't fall at every contact. He's not as good at finishing but Barça doesn't need him to. He was great in a 442 under Tuchel but he was at the opposite side of Reus and he should have been at the opposite side of Messi. Though his best games were probably right behind Aubameyang in the middle of the pitch when Reus was injured (Reus at the world cup hype, crossing fingers). I just want to see Dembélé play, he's wasted at Barcelona, even if he scored or assisted every 90 minutes he had a terrible season.

I guess with an aging squad Barca do need to ship people around but i agree that Dembele is not the place to start. Suarez Messi the wrong side of 30 would be place to save money! Biscuits replacement etc etc. Get rid of the old ones not the young ones.

It kind of went there once Neymar hastily left and Dembele was injured and all that. It sure worked this season, but I could see them shifting around quite a bit now that they've got Dembele back and Coutinho available for the whole season.

it's sad that Messi isn't winning Balon Dors or finding success in the CL recently, he's basically as good as ever but Barca don't give him the support he needs anymore to really turn it on 08-12 style. it's just a team of individuals playing with little structure now, making weird galactico signings like the old real madrid. Real have players like Isco and Kovacic on the bench, they'd walk into Barca's team
