Weird, I guess it's worth a restart then. The problem is the armors start attacking him on on turn 2, so I guess you have to just rush Sigurd in ASAP? Maybe use dancer to get him closer on turn 1? We shall see.

With Sylvia you can move 4 of your best mounts in range of the armors.
Dorcas has been a meme since NoA ran FE7 commercials way back when the game first came out.

Turns out that somehow it was a turn late. Idk how, but after restarting there was PLENTY of time.
Lester's pretty much always going to be mediocre. He's best off with a father that can let him inherit decent bows (Jamke or Midir, with Midir being slightly better since he passes Pursuit), but regardless, he's always going to be one of the less impressive kids.
Larcei and Ulster are great in casual playthroughs, but often get neglected due to the fact that they compete with Seliph for investment. The fact that Genealogy is a sieze-only game with no Rescue or similar mobility mechanics means that the entire pace at which you play the game is dictated by Seliph's movement speed, so a lot of the resource allocation revolves around getting Seliph as much Mov as possible, and to promotion as quickly as possible.
That's interesting. What kind of non-casual playthroughs do people do of this game? I'm enjoying the story but some of the map design is so annoying that idk if I'd want to do another run anytime soon.
Also, if Tinni retreats back into the castle, is it still possible to recruit her?
For "non-casual" I'm referring primarily to speedrun/LTC in this context. There are other kinds of challenge runs, but Larcei/Ulster are naturally not relevant to sub-only runs, and Roddlevan and Radney are irredeemably terrible (EDIT: I guess they're "Dalvin" and "Creidne" now?).

got like 50~ free orbs to roll the new banner with.
also just an update, stocked up to 100k feathers now, just trying to decide who/what I wanna dump it on. probably will still hold off until the meta settles from this patch though, since I think I was originally deciding between a BST arena weight unit or an anti-ranged unit.
whats your coolest build you've seen/come up with the new skills/weapons?
I am all in on Lightning Breath and Light Breath. The dragon weapons in general got huge from the updates, hitting all the high res mages, daggers and archers on their usually really weak defense stat pretty much removes the most annoying obstacle for a dragon team.
Definitely not biased because I am already running a Nowi and Fae on my non-arena teams huehuehue.
I have 180 orbs saved up but I'm torn between trying for a Hector, Dorcas or B.Ike rn between the 3 good banners still up.
I was trying for a Dorcas to get the ranged counter attack for Amelia on my armor team. I ended up getting a 5* Mia and 5* Ayra instead since I was just putting red/green in.
I did free summon for today and got 5*Fjorm off summon, and then you get her again for free in the chapter 2 stuff. So now I have 2 of them lol. Got an extra water blessing out of it though so guess that's decent at least.
