Haven't done any pulls yet off the new banner, although idk if I'm even going to pull blue because Lucina/Xander would be disappointing. As for cool builds, I saw a YouTube vid of someone crushing GHB Michaelis on Infernal with Bartre and four dancers... otherwise, I think any build on a non-meta character is pretty interesting, even though I lack the feathers to build a character like that myself. Wish I could think of some of the neat ones I've run into doing Arena Assault, it's cool to see how much customizing people will put into their favorite characters. | ||

In terms of highest potential power, I think that banner is the best. The 8% banner is good if you're shopping for certain heroes (Hector/tome flier for flier team), but otherwise I wouldn't bother. Bridal Cordelia used to be the best archer, but I'm pretty sure bowlyn has out-crept her. Dierdre is great if you don't have Julia... I guess the reds are all fine, too. I still don't have Hector, so I'm pulling from legendary heroes. | ||

Another 60 orbs seems to confirm this theory. Green orbs are still missing but a shiny 5* Ayra is sort of compensation I guess. My luck is amazing on this banner ngl but I just want more green 5*s. | ||

I went into maximum farm overdrive and grinded out 60 orbs between all the new orbs from story, quest, unfinished chain challenges, tempest, arena reset, etc and threw em all at the 8% banner pulling for red and blue, hoping for Fjorm, Ayra, and/or Celica (DC fodder). Missed on them, but I got an Ike and Spring Xander, so, better than missing entirely I suppose. As neat as Fjorm is, it's really lame how hard she power creeps pretty much every anti-ranged build (and Sharena, rip). I spent a while coming up with a new dragon build using the new weapons. After finishing it, I realized it was just a bad green Fjorm that would be shackled to Fortify Dragons. even my anti-mage Felicia is pretty lame next to her. | ||

For those of you who don't know, combo'ing those two skills with Brave weapons lets you 4x strike before retaliation, swinging in for 50x4 damage after Def Atk buff is applied. Luna, Bonfire, and Draconic Aura are all reasonable ults to choose here considering you should be able to proc any 3 charge ult in your initiation. I didn't go with Draconic Aura here, because, I think it's marginally worse than Bonfire pretty much just because it doesn't get affected by Atk Smoke/Ploy/Threaten and Bonfire can benefit from spurs/other buffs. Luna stands out over the other two though because it really helps with the armor matchup, since it's generally the only thing he can't one shot. Defiant Atk 3 was taken over Death Blow 3 for a similar reason. He pretty much never enters combat before Reciprocal Aid'ing someone anyway, so might as well take advantage of the extra +1 atk that Defiant Atk 3 offers. Pretty useful for clutching arena fights. | ||

That is a pretty awesome build, especially for alfonse who has that defiant inbuilt for extra neatness lol. I love interesting builds like this. | ||

Now that you mention it, Alfonse is like the perfect character for the desperation + brash assault combo. And I have a useless 5* Cain that I've been sitting on... Hm... Also GTR, Ike is pretty similar to Ryoma and he's on the 8% banner. If you specifically want Ryo as a character then I guess you are pretty much out of luck, but otherwise it might be worth pulling for Ike? I just used 20k feathers to give Blarblade+ to Olwen for my first-string cavalry team. She does... a lot of damage now. Thinking I might need to switch from Glacies to Iceberg, though. Or maybe Glimmer now that it's on a 2 turn cd instead of 3. Got pity broken on the 8% banner on two separate occasions by Bridal Caeda and Carrot Xander. Shame on me for pulling blue when Hector's on the line. At least Caeda's bouquet gets a weapon forge upgrade? Carrot Xander is awful, though. | ||
