Many have probably seen this coming, but it has now been officially confirmed live on stream. MMA joins his old friends from Team Acer on Team Expert!
You can still watch MMA play some games and cook from the Team Expert team house in Bad Tölz, Germany right now on https://twitch.tv/expertesport.
MMA will also be playing at HSC XVI, wearing Team Expert colours, and make his return to the pro scene just weeks after finishing his military service.

The quality is even worse than blizzcons stream

How can he play in the HSC XVI if all there are no open slots. He'll have someone to quit to have a chance.

If I check the liquipedia check there are 32 players there. If so the page isn't accurate...

Ignore the 25 invited and 7 qualified part.

There are 2 spots for the NA/SEA qualifier, which hasn't played yet. But there are 25 invited.
Do you think they will cut the qualifier or a spot of it so that MMA will play there?

Do you think they will cut the qualifier or a spot of it so that MMA will play there? NA qualifier was canceled afaik, had only 5 signups or something like that.

...no official statement has been released for NA qualifier, despite me asking here and there, that's why LP page is still like that...

Naturo said it on his Twitter during the qualifier.

Does this mean MMA on EU next year for WCS ?
|
If so how should we call him or did we already give MMA an European name? I forget

Honestly I think he will play GSL/SSL.

He can play both right ? the restriction is only for EU or NA, he needs to have a working visa or something. So if he plays EU, I think he will play GSL and SSL too. Like some foreigners tried this year

Edit: Although Koreans like TRUE and MMA have to live outside of Korea when they want to play WCS tournaments. They can't spend too much time in Korea. It's unfair compared to foreigners who are allowed to live in Korea, play GSL/SSL and still compete in the WCS Circuit, but those are the rules afaik.

You must live or at least stay in KR if you want to play in the GSL. Don't know about the SSL (the rules there keep changing).

Both GSL and SSL are all offline events in KR including their qualifiers. You must be physically in Seoul those days to play. Other than that, you can stay wherever you want. Just need to show up to your matches. They have games every week so if you are super rich, you can fly back and forth between your home country and Korea weekly. :D
I hope MMA will remain in Korea but at the same time if he plays WCS Circuit, we can have a great Terran to watch!

I would be happy either way, it would be nice to have another good Terran in the WCS Circuit now that Polt is gone
