Zest has 3 accounts in the top 15 of KR GM again: #4, #7, #14. Seems he took a bit of time off, but looks in very good shape again. Thank you for that. That is impressive.

A good showing in ST and MC2 will give him some nice money and the lift he needs going into 2018. A top 4 finish is worth $2200 in ST and $1000 in MC2.

I don't understand the appeal of this tournament. . You have 8 top Korean players slugging it out for peanuts. The top prize is just $250 and 3rd and 4th is just $50. Perhaps macherino donations will ultimately double the pool. Often that is the case. With Solar tomorrow and Rogue after that we can get an idea where Zest's PvZ is at.

Lost 3-2 to INnoVation, but looked very good in the series regardless. Should have probably won it actually, but engagements cost him. Lost G2 to mass liberator/ghost and G5 to mass ranged liberators. Losing like that is fine I'd say, since no Protoss ever actually beats either of those.

(I know gumiho maru etc are good vs toss but they don't play the same, TY and Inno tend to race for lib range and ghosts not win in the midgame)

That's a really good result considering Rogue is #1 and #3 on ladder. Zest now plays INnoVation. Lost 3-2 to INnoVation, but looked very good in the series regardless. Tasteless did his typical favoritism for one player over another declaring Gumiho "in charge" even though the match at the time was 1-1. Dear went on to dominate the next 2 maps. Dear was successful with builds that were in part basic Phoenix-Adept. The things that worked at different times this year for Protoss worked in those 2 matches.

Classic at the moment is just a better player than aLive I'd say, and it certainly showed.

Dear got very lucky with GuMiho misrallying the banshee in their 3rd game, and spotting the factory in G4 was a stroke of fortune as well. Classic at the moment is just a better player than aLive I'd say, and it certainly showed. I didn't watch the game between GuMiho and Dear but the results was a bit surprising. I expected GuMiho to win but it seems that the good results from Dear during the SSL premier were indicative of his current form. Clearly Classic is playing awsomly good at the moment. I would say he is almost playing at his best level. Althrough I think Innovation is still better, I would not be totally surprised if Classic takes it. But yeah, we can not look at classic vs alive as a really representative game regarding the PvT matchup as they are playing at really different levels.
