However, these numbers mean nothing when discussing the game itself, as we know that Blizzard kept tweaking the game to force sort of balanced tournament outcomes at any cost. After all, this is what left us with what the game is today: tailored towards/against the personal skills of a select few. This can also explain why the win rates are so different, when comparing major outcomes to premier outcomes. Let's not forget there are people seeing a 40% win rate in PvT, which was never reflected in tournament outcomes, as recorded on TL.
OR, looking at the results of 222 discernible player names over the course of 8 years is too small of a sample to be representative of anything else than the tournament play offs, if even that.
