Heyjo guys, i got a quick question, how many medivacs should i get in TvZ and TvP?
In TvP i think 4-6 is enough? and then go libs most of the time, unless it is colossus and/or phoenix?
But what about TvZ? Vs Roach Ravager Tankivacs are important, so i think you should get almost as many medics as you have tanks, but not more than 10, although i think 8 should be enough already. Can you tell me about the numbers vs LB or LBM? You don't get libs vs pure LB i guess, while vs Muta libs can be good.
In HotS i think i remember you didn't want to have more medics than 10-12 as that is quite a lot already.

Hi I am a high diamond EU-terran, who is stuck at around 4200(yes my losing streaks tend to be really long)-4500 MMR for 2 months...
How do you react to a fast third hatch? (start at ~ 1:45) I scout it with my reaper, but have no idea how to react to it. If I follow my plan (2 medivac drop, followed by 2 tank push), he easily smashes me, because his third already paid off, when I hit him. If I take my third as fast as possible it's still not really early because I already have two raxes.
What do you do in this situation?

I am tier 1 master on eu and i have stop using the 211 build because i feel like it needs flawless execution to be worth it. I am now doing 2 hellion into 2 widow mine drop into 2 more hellions followed by a lib which has been working pretty good
That is the same conclusion that i had. Thx for your insights. I will try your build.

how do i play the best vs disruptor/colossus and gateway units? I feel lost there. Splitting vs disruptor is rly difficult imo. So what unit comp do i have to play? Libs are ok but vikings are needed vs colossus, while you need to defend them with bio which means the disruptor get massive hits >.<

Can someone explain to me how I lost this? TvZ is my strongest matchup as long as Ultralisks don't come out. However in this game, I lost it, I guess due to being too greedy with my drops?

watched the first couple of minutes, stoped when u loeaded 4 medivaces and droped the zerg at the gold and suicided ur whole army.
Even before that u do a double medivac drop followed up by an other double medivac, thats 8 medivacs Worth of bio units and tanks that u just suicided
so my advice would be stop trying to trade units (unless its a very good trade), and try to do free damage; kill creep tumors ; queens etc, but try to lose the least amount of units possible so u can do a big timing push

In TvP
if it goes into late game and toss gets tempest, how should i react best?
Liberator are good vs Disruptor and ok vs Colossus, also ok vs HTs. So, if he has colossus and adds Tempest vs the Libs i definitely should go vikings out of 2reactor sp right? But what if he doesnt have colossus, should i still tech to vikings? The vikings might deal with the tempest yes but they are not that usefull after that imo. Should i just skip vikings and go pure bio medic ghost vs tempest, disrutpor, gateunits and HTs?

I've been stuck in 4400+- mmr for the longest time.
I need something to help me get over the last 200 or so mmr to Masters. Don't really know what I could do different...
Maybe change up my builds? or prolly just my macro.
Any thoughts on good Terran strats per matchup?

Someone have a good vod of terran coutering ultralisk/corruptor on zerg lategame? The broodlords just become imba. Terran have no counter to them, only vikings. They are so weak against corruptors.

If the zerg has really good control and can micro infestors and vipers while keeping his broodlords safe I don't think it's really possible to defeat the ultimate zerg-lategame composition but if the zerg doesn't have perfect control you can try mass ghost with ranged lib support and slowly chip away at his army while using nukes to clean spine/spore crawler walls.

Depending on the map and the situation you might want to add some rhythm in hope for the Zerg to move away his protective units from the brood lords. You can then try to catch them with marine squads.
I believe Demuslim did something like that against Snute? In the HSC MMA won.
For the corruptors/ultra before broodlords, I guess adding a thor would help protect the liberators from corruptors while bioball is protected from ultra by libs and thor / tanks are protected of zerglings/blings by bioball.
That's the only combination I found myself successful against anything without broodlord.

What is your guys' preferred opening in TvT atm?

Dia 2 here, so take it with a grain of salt: I generally open either gaz first into marine helion medivac on small maps (either split forces and drop the main and helion runby the nat, or elevator, or stay defensive if the opponent stayed on 1 base), or reaper expand on bigger maps, into tank/viking. If I don't see any obvious all-in coming, I add a quick third/double ups (going for max greed) into marine tank medivac. If an all-in is coming, I add production first (before 3rd CC and ups).
However, I do struggle a bit against mech on bigger maps since my way of playing is quite defensive/passive early on and let's them set up their stuff too...

I open with byuns reaper hellion expand. Its a gas first into rax and 2nd gas. Once you have enough gas for a reaper and the fact you pull out so you only have one mining on each and then rally into gas once u got full saturation in the main. This way u get the CC before your starport. Build 2 reapers and at least 2 hells and stop here if you feel safe. Add the starport and from here you can vary your build as you please. I prefer to go into banshee with cloak, marine and a cyclone then adding tanks after.

Thanks, I'll give those a try. Before I reached Dia 2 TvT was my best match-up by far, now it's easily my worst, and a lot of that comes down to getting behind early. Plus, you know, the odd number of losses from messing up defending against reaper proxies (scouted and unscouted).
Which I think is a result of my builds being too greedy for my level. They need someone with better mechanics to work (the one match-up where using TY builds can fail me this bad). Don't really run into many mech players, but generally when I do, they are quite bad and can't deal with me going greedy and just massing tons of bio after scouting it's mech.
Also I have recently started running into more Protoss players (and I've been doing quite well against them), is Protoss back on ladder?

I've been facing banshee play quite often as well, either 1 base or after expand. If you ahve the multitasking required (or want to train your multitask), it's a build to try out every once in a while: even with turrets you can always manage to find some damage and generally be a pain to your opponent (pick off SCV building stuff, transiting SCVs between main and nat, a few stray marines, maybe a depot, etc)

In TvZ I've being going mech a lot doing Nathanias build mostly to a quite alright success (Mid-Masters at moment). It's mostly defensive Mech into 3 3 Thors and hellbats which works fine if macro is on point and zerg doesn't go hydras (most of them don't). However, I would like a mech-based All-In of very aggressive push. Do you guys have any suggestions ? Watching TY games where he mechs in this matchup he tends to go very macro oriented as mech needs to be played.
However there must be some sort of timing that we could hit with hellbats + Cyclone + Liberators. Haven't been able to come up with something satisfying so far. How about you guys ?
PS: I know Bio could lead to more aggressive plays/All-In....but I honestly just have less fun playing Bio.

Just don't make a 3rd base-- put all your money into 4fact 2reactor and a port productionl; make units, harass with hellion/banshee/liberator/whatever-else and when zerg tries to take a 4th base grab your scvs and attack.

Can someone link me a site for TvP and TvT openings or builds? I can't seem to find it but remember seeing it before in this thread. What's your go to build for these two matchups? For TvZ, I pretty much stick with the double Marine-Medivac drop timing.
