Lots of crazy storylines. SoIn didn't win a single map in the first phase, but got into Phase 2 and won his group and the trip to China. I (finally) updated the OP a little bit to include stuff like Back2Warcraft, newish tournaments like GERA Cup and so on. I removed the now-obsolete information and updated things here and there, like replacing YY with NetEase. I also added a "reddit community" section, as I feel it deserves its own mention nowadays, specifically for the excellent "Getting Started" stickied post. If you haven't read it, I suggest you do. | ||

 can I play the original Warcraft III on a macbook, or is it completely unsupported ? I've been looking around on the web but I didn't see anything very updated (OS X 10.9.5) I'd be happy to play to the original game, but at some point I'd also like to upgrade to the expansion (frozen throne) Thanks a lot! p.s. yeye I know macbook are not good for gaming  it was not my choice of laptop, but this is what I have | ||

I played WC3 just fine on a pretty weak laptop when I lived in Russia, so you should be fine. | ||

Thanks, www.w3arena.net works on my phone's LTE internet but not on my home broadband... Can it be that I have it blocked for some reason? Without doing anything? Edit: I also cannot connect to the server through the laucher. And it's all before even trying any logging in. | ||

That sounds very weird. In general http://tft.w3arena.net/ should be used for The Frozen Throne and http://roc.w3arena.net/ for Reign of Chaos. What error message are you getting? Are you running as admin? | ||

The error in the browser says that the server needed too much time to reply ERR_CONNECTION_TIMED_OUT. In the launcher the error states "w3arena is unreachable at the moment. Try again later." It happenes to my computer that is connected to the broadband by cable and on the phone when using Wi-Fi. When using LTE internet the website loads fine. | ||

I created an account using my phone and submitted my case into the ban appeal subforum as I suspect that an IP ban may be the case. I had security breaches on several of my social media last year and I wonder if it also affected my w3arena account. I don't belive I did anything wrong as I have not been visiting the site for a very long time now and I don't even remember my former account"s information.
