Yeah abut keeping that defense together...

They already won with a garbage qb last year with Peyton Manning. I'm struggling to recall any good games he had. He eventually turned into a decent game manager after coming back. Sanchez was kinda like that his first two years with the Jets.

He had two OK games against Detroit and Green Bay. Similarly, Brock had two good games against Chicago and Cincinnati. Denver essentially won the Super Bowl without a QB, so I'm not buying into "the world is ending" because we are stuck with Sanchez now unless someone else comes up. If Sanchez can get the timing with DT working better than Manning/Osweiler had last year, he is automatically an improvement.
Losing Jackson and Trevathan is significant, but we weren't going to keep everyone. The defense is deeper than a lot of people gave it credit for and I think people like Wolfe and Ray will step up. It's exciting, though, that the Raiders and Chiefs seem to continue to get stronger. It's nice to see the AFC West being a contest rather than a coronation.

Giants really effed the Pats chances of extending/resigning Jones when they gave Vernon that much money. Jones has better numbers and there's no way the Pats could afford to pay him with all the other contract running up next year. Before signing Chris Long they had $17 mill in cap space to work with, and Butler, Hightower, Collins, and Sheard all need extensions if they want to avoid what's happened to the Broncos.

The Pats could sign 4 of the 6 of Butler Hightower Collins Logan Ryan Jones and Sheard. Now they can sign 4 of 5.

Patriots also signed Fromer Bears LB McClellin to a 3 year deal. This means they have acquired 4 former first round picks this offseason. One way around Rog-God I guess

That Bennett trade is awesome for the Pats - two versatile TEs is such a great thing to have
|
The Pats used it exceptionally well with Gronk and Hernandez before. Gronk, Bennett and Edelman will be a difficult group to cover.

Broncos give Okung 5 yrs $52 mill. Curious how much is guaranteed both since he represented himself and because he has injury issues/hasn't been that good recently.
CJ2k staying with Cardinals on a 1 year deal for $3 mill, Miami must be getting uncomfortable about their prospects at this point.

When I binge on madden I always go hard on 2TE haha.

holy fucking shit - that is not at all worth saving your agent fee for

He who represents himself has a fool for an agent.
If more players follow him, I bet some team will try making a Superbowl team just from players representing themselves.
