They way these guys can control their weight and not kill themselves doing it is amazing. Do you think a Diaz who cut to his normal 155 would of had that same power? Also do you think Connor was "slower" because he also weighed 20+ pounds more then he normally does. I heard Joe Rogan say how interesting it was to see a fight between two guys who didn't have to dehydrate 24 prior to a huge fight. He made it sound like this is how it should be done but as most of you pointed out Connor looked spent in the 2nd. So I guess cutting extreme amounts of weight can mess a fighter up before the fight even starts but so can not cutting at all?

RDA says here that he is walking around at 195. I think RDA would absolutely murder Connor, unless he is chinny and gets flash KO'd like Aldo(which I don't think he is, he has like 1 KO loss on his record super long ago). Remember RDA beat Nate and manhandled Pettis for 5 extremely high pace rounds. KO'd both Cowboy and Hendersson in 1 round. If RDA gets Connor in a clinch/takedown which I assume is the goal for him in that fight I don't see Connor having any chance at all. And if Connor gassed this hard after 2 rounds, how will he ever survive 5 vs RDA which is a total beast condition wise.

McGregor was throwing 100% into his punch, I think that it's likely to be the reason he went out of energy, you can't sprint for 5 fives minute rounds.

http://www.mmamania.com/2016/3/4/11160990/dana-white-absolutely-hates-ufc-196-co-main-event-holly-holm-miesha-tate-mma if Ronda stated she was suicidal after a fight with Tate.. if Ronda went on SNL and congratulated Tate... if Ronda stated she wants Tate on Ellen.... if Tate were undefeated... then Tate v. Rousey is as big a draw as Holm.. it ain't. had Holm won at UFC 196 she'd be undefeated and facing Rousey and an undefeated Holm is a better draw than Tate. undefeated champions are huge draws. http://www.mmafighting.com/2015/12/3/9842440/dana-white-says-holly-holm-vs-ronda-rousey-immediate-rematch-ufc-mma and again, i said short term. long term any time you have a fighting champ who takes on the highest available contender its good for the sport. the fact Holm chose to fight rather than wait is good for the entire division long term no matter the result. 1.5 million buys for UFC 196. funny how UFC keeps PPV buy rates top secret unless they hit a certain really cool sounding big #. sorta reminds me of ATVI.
