Surprised you wouldn't vote for Jesus, since it seems like the most viable strategy for you to not get lynched. Since he's your primary competition, lynchwise. A townie lynch v. a townie lynch.. Jesus claims that he is some super-mafia-guru so I figure out of the two of us, town would benefit more from him being alive. Hold up you just said Jesus was a complete unknown to you. Now you're saying he's town? And not just that but that because he says he's good at mafia (with zero display of that in game to back it up), you would rather die yourself than lynch him even though you're confirmed town to yourself???
As a null, I choose to use innocent until proven guilty for him.
Have I given proof that I am a good mafia player? lol I'd rather let him prove himself than for me to continue on this same track.
I am not confirmed town to everyone else so it doesn't really matter. Besides, this is a team game, it doesn't effect me if I die.

I mean... Yeah
That was virtually a double scum claim all in one. I think.
The only motivator that makes any sense there is saving Jesus the mafia PR. Especially when he has no prior opinion on Jesus... Looks like keeping his options open for how to read a buddy

If Jesus doesn't vote will he be modkilled? or replaced?

The presumption of innocence in a court of law is to prevent government overreach and abuse of power.
No such analogue exists in mafia. We operate on probabilities and are solely guided by the truth -- we have no ulterior motivations to punish people for its own sake.
There is no reason to presume innocence by default in this game. Citing that phrase is tantamount to handwaving needing a reason to call someone town.

It also has to do with the fact that the imprisonment of an innocent person is considered a much grosser injustice than a free guilty person. At least where I'm from.

Probability: I gave 3 scum reads. Probability is town in his favor.

Not to mention I don't care for the wagon on him. Gives me more reason to think town.

I'm actually starting to get cold feet....
|
Meh, maybe I'm not.
Bleh, I'm bad at this.

If Jesus is modkilled, does his replacement get his role?

Meh
I still think that Tumblewood is mafia. Alur is probably town though, despite my earlier suspicions.

Fuck.
Here are Kuragaris reads:
On January 29 2016 04:33 Kuragari42 wrote: READS:
Slight Town:
PeppermintTea - While I am not in complete agreement with everything they have said/done, I have gotten a pretty steady townie vibe from them.
Trofl - While originally his questions bothered me and made me lean slightly scum, I now see that each of them had a point.
Shapelog - His reads/refutations are sort of out-of-the-box yet still have sense and I am in agreement with a lot of his logic.
darthfoley - I was suspicious of his early game but I did not scum-read him, I just wasn't content with the strong town-reads on him. Quite a few of his posts mid-game were pretty good. I'd say if this list was ordered he would be pretty low TR.
Slight Scum:
Eden - His posts are not aligned with how I expect a experienced town player to post. Pretty low SR.
Tumblewood - Several of this guy's posts make little sense to me but the people that were attacking/defending (and the way they were doing it) him make him a low SR.
On January 29 2016 04:52 Kuragari42 wrote: Continued reads...
Slight Scum:
Ikidomari - His posts seem contorted and I tend to find lynch begging a scum (or at the very least anti-town) thing to do. This also fits in with my slight scum read on Eden if Shape's recent lines of post are correct.
Town Lean:
Mexican, noon, Onegu.
Scum Lean:
Alur.
I honestly have no clue:
Jesus.
Time to look at who voted on Kura for scummy or vague reasons (+timing).
|
Shrug still a perfectly reasonable lynch.
Lesson for future games:
If you are town, you should always vote your counter wagon unless the counter wagon is (somehow) confirmed town.
It doesn't matter whether or not Jesus is town or mafia here. Kura doesn't know this. He only knows that he himself is town -- so he should always try to lynch his counter wagon, since the counter wagon isn't known to be town.
Anyway I'm probably killing Iki tomorrow, as of now. I'm not worried about the mislynch -- sucks that we didn hit mafia, but we accomplished all our other goals for day 1. Good environment lots of productive disscussion.
|
Meh his reads aren't great. They were what caused me to lynch him. Better to look at shady switches.
|
Eden1892, you're probably town, but I really don't know what you're trying to do this game. Like, I just can't see where you're coming from at all.
Humor me for a bit? Assume that I'm 100% confirmed town, and let's chat about the game. Okay?
