Canada I think could. I forgot you guys have Mana as well when I first made that statement. Still, did you see Scarlett the other day? She's back in form.
I'd like to say no bias... But I'm not sure I can.

Hah! Fair enough.

For next iteration of Nation Wars I really feel two changes would be very welcome:
1. Double elimination final bracket. Korea will most likely roll over everyone and they can potentially eliminate the two other best nations in the tournament if the draw is unfortunate, resulting in a rather anti-climactic finals. Maybe make the loser bracket matches bo3 instead of bo5 to make it happen?
2. 4 player teams with no revive system. Deeper rosters + sniping that key player (and there are quite a few teams that rely on a single person doing very well) would mean so much more. Deciding which player plays when would have more impact, as well.

Korea, Poland, Finland and France seems like a nice top4. And until then Stephano and Lilbow have a lot of time to improve, so they could actually make the final with the french crowd behind them.

It'd be nice, but Canada will dream crush. I'll sig-bet on that if anyone is interested.

I entirely disagree with the first change. Double elimination just draws out the tournament way too much and reduces viewer interest. A bo3 or bo5 also doesn't work at all with nation war's format.
The second change could be okay. It would probably mean lower quality games on average though.

To be fair, except for Ukraine, every advancement match was won predominantly by one person--including Korea. Besides, I think we've seen that the "best" teams may not actually be the "best" teams. There have been a number of upsets here, and some unexpected players have played very well.

All the games in NW3 are Bo7 now (sorry for saying Bo5 before, I'm sleepy as hell at this point )

They're BO9 actually.

Tinfoil hat time - China and South Korea were seeded against each other in Ro8 to reduce travel costs from 2 Asian teams. :p

Exactly my point Sniping Innovation would mean so much more if he couldn't just come back to all-kill Finland. Showtime defeating Serral would be more impactful. Bly lost vs China but could come back to secure the win.
The games would be much more strategical and impactful if the key player (and like I said before there's often one player that's clearly better than the rest) if he couldn't just come back after losing.

We're both wrong, they're Bo7 (as in a maximum of 7 games can be played). Bo5 LB would work well, my opinion.

Unless wikipedia is incorrect all matches are BO9 from here on out:
http://wiki.teamliquid.net/starcraft2/NationWars_III
As in maximum of 9 games can be played.
Edit: Unless you mean, the losers bracket last round should have been BO5 and not Bo7, but I think the group stage worked pretty well as BO7 personally.

Agree for both, but n°2 make it hard for small nation that have 3 good players but can't find a 4th one; and n°1 is make it harder to organize
