Yeah, Ro16 GSL >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> RO8 WCS. Like seriously... Currently it is impossible to compare their levels. Which nobody did because it isn't the point I'm just talking some trash. We do have a finals on the way xD. WrathSCII misinterpreting our convo took the wind out of everything though lol.

I am not hyped for the finals because SKT decided to play some scrub instead of their best players (and i will cry if that is enough, which it probably will be) Maybe i look at things too negatively? Yeah maybe that's the case, haha

Since it also means he is always getting to RO16, which is quite a thing. Unfortunately lost again - this time really close. But be honest, 0-4 would also have been possible (2-0 Inno, 2-0 Parting) so I am glad he put up a fight and showed he is still a great Terran player. Not the best but one of the best still.

I was disappointed he didn't, Flash tears are always the tastiest
But he was fighting a hopeless battle anyway, none can stand against the power of GumiGod Choya

Ah god damn it. Wrong decision making is no easy thing to fix. Decent showing by Flash, could have been much worse

Just woke up and saw the results T_T
So I didn't read the previous pages but am I the only one that consider this result something good for Flash? Despite not advancing, he was very very close and put a good fight in all the sets, which is waaaay more than what everyone was expecting, including me.
Could it be that he is a good player in the end?

That is what making it harder for flash. He almost cried after lost to Gumiho...

Could it be that he is a good player in the end? 4-4 in a group like this is impressive, but the blunders in the 1st and 3rd Gumiho games were truly heartbreaking. I'll keep believing, even in LotV (or BW...).

Could it be that he is a good player in the end? Parting doesn't look good and TvT always was Flash's strength. I don't see it I mean, he obviously is good (if you play code s you simply are a good player), but "good" isn't what Flash might consider enough tbh. As i said before, he was THE BEST, now he is somewhere in the top 30 probably.

The fact that Flash got so close (yet again) makes it even more heart-breaking. Close as in he's in the lead and control of a game, yet fails to close it by making an avoidable blunder. Close as in doing all the hard running, and yet slips and fall at the last hurdle a whisker away from the finishing line and loses the entire race.

The Flash I met when I started watching Starcraft wasn't one that would take a loss badly (unless it is a PL Finals ace loss). But recently we've seen him very upset and/or sad in his recent matches. I feel he is approaching a point of make-or-break in his carreer... The bag of expectations must be goddam heavy and one man can only carry so much.

Me too It was a rhetorical question, it's just that sometimes you read so many people trash talk him that you start to believe he is bad.

I see your point and I understand the desire to keep the expectations low but sometimes you are a bit negative Let yourself believe and be heartbroken afterwards like we do! :D

I'm a huge Flash fan. But the truth is I have been a Gumiho fan for a very long time and if Flash had to lose the spot to anybody, I'd want it to be Gumiho.
Gumiho has a better chance of going all the way in the end, and FFS he DESERVES a big win.
GO GUMIHO!!!!!!!!!!
