Isn't disjointing the Laguna/Finger projectile so absurdly difficult it's barely worth trying? It is 0.45 wind-up + 0.25 seconds damage delay which is enough time to react to, it's still hard tho. However she can stun Huskar first then laguna him down anyways | ||

The guy who wrote the blog is criticising exactly that. He said that the changing meta is but a change of visuals and only changes small numbers, that it doesnt change the gameplay and doesnt force you to rethink. He implies that their competitive gaming is a way of selling their pub games and that riot is trying hard to create characters and visuals instead of gameplays, which is the the logical consequence if you dont want champions to have big strengths and weaknesses. Sounds very stale to me. I hope the blog sounds more dramatic than it is >.< | ||

+ Show Spoiler + Because you can't really update game with drastic patches and keep it balanced at the same time. For League, replace rock and scissors with papers. League has a cool economy model: introduce a plasma gun first and after everyone buys it nerf it down to the rest. | ||

I remember S2games doing the same thing with HON back in the day. They'd release a new hero make you pay for it then weeks later nerf it to almost useless or somewhat balanced levels. Needless to say if you were willing to pay for the new hero or use your in game currency you could easily dominate games with them. I few from HON that come to mind are Silhouette, Midas, and that one guy with the gun swapping mechanic. | ||
