I can't even start to describe how annoying this is from containing spoilers pov

I though people had agreed TL was also a news site? Its like going to watch TV or reading the newspaper and then complaining they spoiled the results for you.

There's a huge emphasis in avoiding spoilers here as well. Like the LR's having a spoiler free section so you can see the results at your own discretion.

I'm not saying I'm opposed to getting an exact date, I just can't think of situation where it would matter? Reading old threads (takes a while to figure out what month and day is "144 weeks ago"). Playing mafia. Trying to match a quoted timestamp to the post based on time.

old site had a spoiler free button, new one doesn't. Plus for people who aren't able to watch any upcoming event live over the weekend (like that IEM one) and would like to watch it later on from a vod, the upcoming events spoiler is a huge deal. Right now you basically have to stop visiting TL even before the semis or the finals for example take place to avoid spoilers.

We made a conscious decision not to support spoiler free viewing on the new layout. TL is a news site covering professional gaming, you aren't going to find any other sports sites that aren't showing you the latest news and results when you visit them. Having to maintain two sets of options for the tiny fraction of our users who used the "Hide spoilers" option was not making efficient use of our resources.

Could there be a way in the settings to simply collapse the section then? That way it still has the latest results for anyone visiting the site to get them, but for the regulars who plan to watch those games later it can remain hidden.

Why do the SSL articles keep poping up in my news feed when I have everything BW related disabled?

So wait, people can be banned for spoiling events but spoiling results via the upcoming events section is acceptable? I don't use the anti-spoiler button thingy (heard of it just now o.o) but imo, the upcoming events section shouldn't contain player names like it used to. TL is a news site but people also come here because the forums have compiled/collected/linked game VODs. For example, there's the Small VOD thread in the BW forums. What's the use of the anti-spoiler rules in that thread if users will just see the results already pasted on the right.
This is only my opinion though...

The old events layout wasn't nearly a spoilery as this one though ...

It used to separate LOTV stream from HOTS stream... now it's just SC2 stream... any reason? It's nice to see who is actually playing the beta.
I also really dislike the lack of timestamp. I was reading an old thread and it just said how many weeks ago, I had to do in my head roughly when it was.
Not a fan of the "posts" button either being hidden by an arrow for user names. A lot of things just seem more tedious to utilize for the users.

Twitch no longer differentiates HOTS and LOTV streams and puts them both in the SC2 category. Since TL takes the stream info directly from Twitch there's not much TL can do about it.

Ah wow that just happened to coincidentally happen right around the time of the website change, so naturally I just assumed!

Yeah this happened a few days before the website changes, but not everyone knew about it.

true, they should probably have a "Spoiler"/"No Spoiler" mode that you can activate if enough people complain about this issue. myself, i don't care about spoilers.
personally, i want the old ESPN.com ( the site from less than a 6 months ago) in esports form as the TL.Net site layout. And the new TL.Net site layout/design comes a lot closer to that than the old TL.Net site design.

I don't know if it's just me but I would like to report a bug:
There's still a Bisu vs Mind entry on the Upcoming Events section hours after the match ended. It says it will start in 6h 34m.

This is what the banner looks like on my phone in portrait mode. It is not pretty with all the things overlaying each other. My screen is pretty big (Galaxy S5), so I fear what it looks like on a smaller phone screen .
Not a high priority, I guess, but the mobile version is not nearly as good as the desktop version yet. At least now I can log in, and stay logged in.
As I type this on my phone, another weird bug popped up. If I scroll down so the text I'm typing is in the middle of the window, with every key stroke my screen scrolls up a few pixels until the text I type touches the bottom of the window (where my virtual keyboard is). Seems like the CSS thinks the text is bigger than it is or something?
