Push-ups, and rigorous standing exercise, including stretching, kept his spirit up for the unknown amount of time he would be here.
Everyday when he woke up he thought of talking to her.
Water dripped off the eerily sun-lit green cell. Bright moss grew on the walls, and the cell smelt of the sea. The bones of the last occupant of the cell sat against the wall, smiling at Brandesh.
He didn’t hate his father for sending him here, as he loved him and knew he would be sad when he was gone.
A little notebook was his only possession in the mossy green dungeon, which he filled with poems and stories of dragons.
His thoughts often drifted to Sarah, from Little Triarch, though he didn’t lust after her, he couldn’t help but think what a great mother she would make.
A neugdae came to Brandesh.
“Are you scared?” jaeyeong said.
“It's nothing,” Brandesh’s mind answered, as he sent his neugdae to meet jaeyeong.
“What do you want?” jaeyeong asked.
“To be one with a female caller, her name is Sara.”
“You have to be a man.”
The neugdae ran.
Here you are safe, but you travel back to a land that is not welcoming to magicians.
Mellowford was a young son of a rich merchant of Costania. He bragged to his friends about Sara's great breasts. He was a zoofriend.
“He's at a magicshow."
Sara stood a flummoxed, but laughed as a wolf nibbled her.
“Looks like rain,” Patrice said.
Guy huffed as he ran. He was young, only 33.
“Salutations, soldier, you will return to Costania tomorrow.”
“Ok,” Guy replied.
“Then be about your business, and good day.”
“What!?” Brandesh yelled at Guy.
"We're leaving."
“It will do me some good, thou art a good friend.
“She will be healthy, keep her clean and the two of you get plenty of rest.” The midwife said to Morgan.
“I can’t wait to hold the baby!” Angel said.
“We had best be at the Warmaster’s summons,” lu said.
“He only asked to see you and Angel,” Sara stated.
The two young girls scurried off to the northern corridor.
They walked into the Warmaster’s candle-lit prayer room.
“Wine?”
"I wanted to see a light-show to delight my men here, are you game, young ladies?” He said. Talking to them as if they were adults.
“Anything our master requests,” Angel politely said, stretching out her hands.
At that, the Warlord let out a loud bark of a laugh and said, “Dismissed.”
Brandesh stepped onto harp and felt a familiar sea-sickness.
They sailed for four days along the Ice Sea.
“Rocky seas."
He took a subdued drag, and replied, “If I remember my geography correctly, ice isle and the dark woods lay near us." He blew his smoke out.
“I think a change would be welcome, the dark woods are, well, dark...”
Does Lancass know everything? Bran thought. Eastern... ELVES?
“As my captain wants, I go.” He said.
A queen approached the party.
“You bear the signs of the dragon and the king, here, look,” She said, lifting Brandesh’s arm, revealing two small purple birthmarks.
Each member of the party was handed a tall glass of a sparkly pink liquid. It tasted good.
“It might seem like nothing, but this wine is ten times more potent than regular wine, without any flaws.” The queen said.
Later that night, the men of harp played a game of coinbones.
“Show us the stone Brandesh,” Guy screamed, above the clamour.
“Very well, here.” Brandesh said, taking out the hot thing.
Suddenly the room sat in a hush as elvish vagabonds bowed to the holy stone, calling it mom.
The gem flew out, spinning around madly and sent out a calming light, which relaxed all it touched.
“Mom,” daes said.
They bid the elves goodbye.
They spent their time on the ship playing coinbones.
“Now to confess my love to Sara,” Brandesh said. He started writing.

EPILOGUE
2 years later.
It had been a great year for Brandesh. He had finally gotten his companionship and he was happy to have a 1-year-old daughter, ciel.
He had chanced upon ciel's mother at a magicshow, and as she was flying nearby, he played his hand and talked to her. She ended up being nice so they became friendly. She was called chingu. He was a bit upset it wasn't Sara, but just because he was with chingu didn't mean anything.
The game ended, and the crew ate a picnic lunch. Bread, meat and cheese sandwiches served with bubbly wine.
But trouble brewed.
"I'm in a tizzy."
"Take care to hold the smoke, we call it ghosting." Lancass replied.
Just then, the cat came in on the tree-lined hill. He stopped to lay upon Bran's arm.
"Any man planning to marry pwaella will have his head removed by my axe."
BOOK 2
God's Garden
Brandesh spoke his kasa to Brooks. Teaching him the ways of song.
KASA
I like the tigers
but I like the lions too
they say I am cat guy
but i like dogs it's true..
I like all God's animals,
except for the bugs,
but I'm known to like a buttefly,
if only just because..
I like the tigers..
The song went on and on, and then they stopped. Brandesh could write twenty books on song, so he slapped Brooks on the bottom and told him that he must be very brave to sing, and that he must listen to the ladies he sings with, for they know much more than a man like he.
After 12 minutes of singing, Brooks said, "You are surely wise, lad."
BOOK 2
Gratey
Gratey fumbled for change in his purse. He was not rich, but had money for tobacco and the milk he needed. His stomach hurt, and he took his goods back to his place in the hills.
He picked up his lute and began to play his eumak.
Gratey had known of the spirit world for many moons.
They talked to him often, in his mind, and he played them his eumak.
He saw armies build, the eastern boys' wolves could ensnare. Some wolves towered, aye, and some healed.
He used his mind-powers to reach out to the boy.
"Use your axe, boy... your magic axe..." Gratey said.
Then all went black and Gratey was back in his room, craving yet more coffee and tobacco.
It was midnight, and Sara was resting her eyes, when she saw a fat, happy noin playing his lute.
"Don't you worry~"
"But, who are you?" Sara said.
"Gratey."
His search for Sara began with maeli. He found it in his pocket.
After inhaling one large toke, he began to have a few visions.
He saw the gongju there, beautiful as she could be and began to play his eumak for her.
"Your music is beatiful!"
LET ME SING THAT PAIN AWAY
BLUE DRESS KIND OF DAY
SHERIFF ON THE WAY THO!
Sara luxuriated.
Then Gratey offered her some maeli.
"What's that? I heard Lord Stan, my fiancee, likes that."
"Nothing but the good earth herb, you'll like it."
"But it is forbidden by the high gyohoi."
"You'll need it to concentrate, though."
She took a hit, Gratey giving fire.
There was a knock on the door.
She knew it was lord Stan, coming to steal his midnight kiss.
"Come." Gratey said.
"Here, this door."
The door opened to a tunnel. Gratey inspected it.
Then Gratey began puffing his pipe as they walked.
"Say did you ever know a boy named Brandesh?"
"I only know Mar."
"The man from your church?"
"Yes, Mr Soaseongae."
"You know him?"
"I know."
"Ok."
The corridor got smokey. Gratey shook his hair out with a wet rag to rid them of the smoke-smell.
"BRANDESH."
"..."
"Brandesh? He smoked too much maeli and went to the infirmary."
"He is resurrected somewhere."
"I am to wed Stan."
"Then why run, girl?"
"I was nervous from the maeli."
"Look, a way out."
It led to a tavern.
The building was two stories, with lots a farm and barn out back, as well as plenty of beds.
Gratey ordered to cups of wine for them and sat down.
He was sad, a noin with a nice girl like Sara.
The bartender then came to them with two heaping satchels of maeli, wagonwreck and maeliberry.
A man walked into the tavern, Gekko Chillbeard. He was clad in black, from head to toe.
"Innkeep, I've got some maeli you should try, it's called ivory."
This meri appeared white.
Gratey tossed Gekko a coin and took a handful. Just then constable and Sheriff Nowhere entered.
"ANYONE PEDDELING?!"
Gekko then took out his familiar yellow leaf and held it in the air.
"No maeli here sirs, and we are not required by law to let you search us."
The lads muttered.
"See here, nothing but some yellow chewing-leaves."
After the tumult died down, the friendly innkeep came and told them of their quest.
They were to defeat the evil Draggle, a goblin who had kidnapped the mine and was harvesting iron, secretly working with Lord Stan, unbeknownst to gongju Sara.
They ventured out the next day to the mine, it was a 12-hour-journey.
But before they got there they ran into a caravan.
A funny man popped out, stating: "I sell life."
Jaeyeong: Yae?
Sylph: Go to dragon valley.
Jaeyeong: I'll need the jewel.
