I think he left before Choya became MVP's coach though?

I think DRG was too nice and not evil enough to be one of Choya's minions.

Maybe Startale's english just isn't that good and instead of 'sponsors' they ment 'we need players'.

He left MVP (leading the whole squad) in order to get more freedom to go to more international events and to escape the kespaisation of MVP. Now his plan didn't play out, so he has to go back to a korean team stay relevant. He can't go back to MVP, which he left in kind of a revolt of the whole team he initiated (at least it looked like that). He probably doesn't want to join a traditional kespa team due to his desire for freedom and probably his role wouldn't be as important there as he wants it to and the kespa teams are already saturated with good zergs. Prime isn't attractive because it's down in success for too long now. Startale had quite some success not that much time ago (this year!) and is known to make good results out of their players (many of their proleague matches got closer than everybody expected) and startale is probably as "non-kespa" as you can get being on a korean team, considering they where the last team standing for esf and joining kespa really late. I'm really happy that DRG made this decision, because it gives a glimmer of hope, that the struggeling teams can survive and finally they can be somewhat even with the old kespa teams.

I dont think Myungsik and DRG would have joined StarTale without (a small) payment: Prime had this big news, that they can pay now every player (a small) payment. Why would Myungsik leave Prime for StarTale, if he does not get payed there: Both play in ProLeague, both will field him often. DRG either could earn more then zero in other teams. So there should be a payment at least. I think Kespa decided to pay some LoL money to Startale so they can have them another season 2015/2016. They had 4 ace matches and with the new players, they could be able to win more then zero matches. And with the ace of life, they made it to the play offs in S1. Prime on the other hand... is still a punching back for the most time and now lost Myungsik. TotalRagequit said in the anti Axiom Flame thread, that his team would possible join ProLeague in 2016, either because the "hypercompetitive Korea of now a days", and because they are the last non ProLeague professionel Team in Korea. And there is a high chance one or even two teams fall out of the league
