This shit is gonna be hard. Dropping all games, TV, and movies for 40 days. I purposely made this hard; originally thinking about just games and just to make it harder I took out TV and movies as well.
To make sure I don't fuck up too early, my B.Net accounts are:
Equinox_kr@East SunAndMoon@East Art.Insight@West qkrwodud@Asia Solstice_kr@East (mule account for D2) Eclipse_kr@East (mule account for D2)
IF YOU SEE ANY OF THESE ONLINE JUST MASS SPAM WHISPERS AND TELL ME TO GET OFF. I am quite serious about giving this shit up for 40 days.
I have no idea how to keep myself from TV and movies except by doing my time consuming shit, homework, study, work out, music.
I'm at school, 8:16 AM. I'll edit post with details when the day is over.
edit: As an extra note lent is completely voluntary on my part :-/

Hahaha I don't watch porn :-/
Mm .. interesting thought about Wiki.
And if webgames didn't count then I wouldn't be worried
edit: And TL.net is the obvious choice, I was worried about what to do in the time after I've literally posted in every thread :O

weakling That's what I thought too. I don't know why you're doing this, but if it is becuase you don't wanna waste time with all the things you mentioned, add the internet to your list too. You can get everything (including games/tv/movies) there. So it's just a loophole.

jeez that's rough what jens/nony said. you'll be a genius by the time lent is over!

...only to realize you're shaking/quivering and craving bw. Then, you run into the woods to look for the disc; you can't find it. You break down to the point you grab your keys, drive to Best Buy, purchase another copy of SC, and realize Starcraft has you by the balls.
I've tried quitting multiple times, as well...

I can't think of a loophole, some people told me this, but techinically I'm not letting myself watch YouTube or play any flash internet games or Travian or w/e.
YouTube, Veoh, etc. pretty much encompasses movies and TV and that just leaves it up to me not to play games.
@NonY: I actually am in the middle of several good books, I might need some recommendations on new books that come out later.

I dont understand the looking for loophole thing, i mean youre doing this on your own so why do it? anyways I know several people that had to give up really hard things, for one i know an asian girl who gave up rice one year. RICE. Also my friend gave up the computer, the trick was to schedule your day with activities planned.
I gave up every drink except water so when i get tempted like you would if someone asked you to play a game of BW/watch a movie etc etc I just think of the harder things that people gave up and push on!

Geeze you might be forced to read a book or something. Not sure what else you can do.
