1. What is a good dead lift replacement? I am currently alternating between pull ups and one handed rows with a dumbbell to work on the back. They seem like decent compound movements, but I am open to suggestions. 2. Not only do I not have a barbell, but I am also extremely inflexible in my ankles and hamstrings. I am working on that, but it will be a while before I can use proper technique in a squat, and I can't easily hold the weight needed for a squat in my hands. Any suggestions for what to do in the near future? I am thinking of doing low weight with high reps with dumbbells while I work on form, or I could use the leg extension/curl machine at the high weight standard. Obviously neither is ideal, but I could use some advice.

For squats you could substitute lunges for now, and doing walking lunges could help with the flexibility.

Thanks! I'll give walking lunges a try for sure. And welcome to TL (assuming you haven't been here long if that was you first post)

Six pack is mostly about diet anyways, if you fix it and drop the fat, you will have visible abs. The thing is it wont look much without muscle. There's only so much you can do to gain muscle faster, and not going to the gym is not one them. Obviously you can get ridiculously ripped and quite strong even without a gym, but that takes a long time of dedication and steady training. It always pours down to steady, regular training with a proper diet. Almost regardless what that training is, it will bring you some fitness results. Still, there are programs like p90x that get you somewhat ripped in a few months without going to a gym. You should either reconsider some of your methods or goals (getting ripped WITHOUT a gym), or learn more about bodyweight excercises and go from there.

Dude I was 100% serious! You made it sound like to get a 6 pack I couldn't have any fat in my diet. But yeah you were pretty unhelpful so I did research on r/fitness and bodybuilding.com forums. Apparently I'm "skinnyfat," and I have to go on a 1900 calorie diet and lose all my body fat before I can start working out. User was warned for this post

Don't come here asking for advice if you are going to reject it anyway.

I've doing gym for 6 weeks now, i can see a liiiitle bit of results already, ive lost some weight, ive gain some muscles but nothing too serious, so my question is: i want to gain some muscles and get a 6pack as soon as posible, i mean fast! Should i get some diet suplements like creatine or things like that? Wich ones specifically? I dont like diet, but i would do it if i have to, what would you recomend? I cant change my lunch meals, but i can change my breakfast and dinner. Im very motivated! Please try to be very specific, my english (as you can notice) is not very good. Thank you!

English is pretty good except for some spelling Can you tell us more about what you're currently doing? For example, your usual meals each day and what program are you following at the gym. There are some good supplements you can use but anything that promises results fast is probably dangerous or risky. Creatine is a fine supplement to take if you're interested in muscle gain and want to work out frequently. Real results come with time and consistency but we might be able to optimize what you're currently doing to help.

Well i currently have a job from 7am to 5pm, i do gym from 6 to 7 or 7:30 pm, i do not have an strict routine, but i do follow some rules while working out, i work out 2 muscles (or group of muscles i dont know xD) per day, one big and one tiny, for example: chest (big) and biceps (tiny), or legs (big) and triceps (tiny) or shoulders (tiny) and back (big)... I think you get the idea, plus i do abs EVERY DAY (mon-fri), and i always let the muscle rest for at least 2 days before repeating it, for example if i do chest on mondays, i may do it again on thursday, so thats all about my program. About the food I eat two "empanadas" for breakfast everyday, no more food until lunch wich vary a lot but its usually: soup, a big plate of vegetables and some dead animal on the side (chicken, cow, pork, fish etc) and rice, then at mid noon i eat a plate of fruits, melon, watermelon, pinneaple etc (like 4pm), then gym at 6pm and then dinner... The dinner is the worst part, i eat 2 hot dogs everyday, they are cheap and where i live i CAN NOT cook, so yeah, there is that... Oh and about what you said, i do want to gain some muscle, but not a lot, because im really short, and i think it wouldnt be very good for me, but i do want my 6pack and muscle definition... Oh and thanks again pD: SC2 and DOTA2 player over here
