I guess you should just try it out in some actual use like your Osu stuff? 5/11 is a 75% factor and I don't know what Windows does to apply that to the actual coordinates the mouse is sending. What does it do when the mouse sends a bunch of +2 coordinates for example? 50% of those should stay +2 and 50% should be turned into +1. I wonder if the guy that wrote the code wanted to do things perfect or not. On April 15 2014 22:05 wo1fwood wrote: Don't use 5/11 silly, it's an inconsistent step. either 6/11, or 4/11-lower are fine. Yea i'm aware of it being like this, normally i'd adjust using direct multiples of 1 (1/2, 1/4, 1/8'th or maybe, maybe, for cases like 400dpi intellimouse on 1920x1080 - 2x) but i'm kinda stuck here with xornet sensor 500/1000/2000dpi, with 1000 step working best, IIRC. 500 is very low to be using for fast cross-screens and changes in direction etc, while 1k is too fast for my tastes. I've been wondering if it's worth it to use the 5/11 step though for 0.75x on 1k. It doesn't seem as evil as 7/11+ To be honest it'd take a week to rebuild muscle memory, if i didn't like it, i'd be "off" for like 4-10 days switching to and from. 1k dpi though.. eeeeeeehhhhhhhhhhhh i don't know how people use that much sens, it's definitely at the level of noticeably losing accuracy

If that kind of difference holds up, then that $800 will turn into £845 which is the equivalent of ~$1415. I'd need a job.. £550 after VAT is plausible, but then again so is £850. That kinda hurts. I'm almost certainly gonna grab a high end gpu in the next 2-4 quarters and do something with this 770, but i can't really afford an £800 screen or flipping cpu's/gpu's every gen without some serious income

1. What's your grip style? Fingertip 2. What's your sensitivity? Right now: Steelseries Xai 1600 DPI (Windows settings: 6/11) 3. What's your maximum budget? around 100€ max 4. Do you want additional buttons? 1-2 additional buttons are fine, but it's not necessary. 5. What games do you play? Everything what gives me fun. I like almost all genres. M<ostly i play brood war/starcraft 2 and some good old games. 6. Do you mind angle snapping? I do not know what you mean. I had Kinzu v1 and Xai andboth mouse was nice. 7. Others: I like ambidexterous mouse. Small or medium sized. Xai/Kinzu are well shaped for me. My hand love this shape. I am looking mainly for a steelseries mouce buyt i will consider and look at every proposal. And sorry for my bad english.

I can use it with my 770 Hardware costs are ridiculous in UK vs US and even canada, i don't think you guys were ever paying 625 cad for a 770, even selling used here there's no way i wouldn't take like a 66% loss if i just dropped it on the market after a year and a few months from launch. It's silly, so i'm probably going to drop it in a complete system with CPU that i already have and price gouge that a little, cause cards going used for half of MSRP after 8 months while we're still on the same gen is terrifying

I think now about 2 mices: sensei raw kana v2 Which will be better on QcK mousepad? 9hd or another plastic mousepad is too expensive for me, when i must buy a new mice. I currently have a Sensei, and the only thing different I think is the coat and the fact that it's less expensive and has less features. As to whether to go for normal vs. raw, definitely go raw. I've had the normal version for 1.5 years now and most of the features are kind of a gimmick. Actually making faults in a sensor an ''option'' like lifting and neg/positive acceleration. But the mouse feels really nice as in the size (because raw will have a different coating, I can't talk about that) if you have medium/large hands. I use a claw grip and it's very nice. Not the most comfortable but it feels good. The mouse feels responsive aswell, and I hear of people complaining about touching the right sidebuttons a lot on accident - I never have a problem with that, but I do have pretty thin fingers. As I've posted and asked about in this thread, there is a slight acceleration issue that I'm sure also applies to the raw version. I don't think it's gigantic, but if you want a perfect sensor, this mouse is a pass (which is why I might switch to a different mouse soon.)

You know, i want really harsd to kill mouse. My kinzu and xai died because of doubleclick and i do not want to buy senser raw or kana v2 and complaint it few weeks later. Well, as said, I've owned the usual Sensei for about 1.5 years now and apart from an (apparently) bios error I had, I've never had any trouble with it that isn't intended. Took me a couple of hours to a day to get used to playing at high APM, but except that I've never had any trouble. The time I did ask for customer support, it was actually quite good. Again, it isn't a RAW though, but I imagine it's pretty much the same.

I think it was good choice. After delivery i will tell you what i think about it. You are aware of the fact, that there is only one side button at each mouse side (instead of having 2 buttons at one side), are you?! I bought a kana too and was totally shocked when I realised it. Sent it back immediately. edit: bracket, typo

whenever i'm moving the mouse straight up or down, i get a bit of stutter to the left or right no matter how smooth i move it. if i use a different mouse pad, it seems to work fine. any reason why the same mouse wouldnt work on the same setup? did i get a bad one?
