Ahahahaha.
@OP; It's my professional medical opinion that you go see a doctor. You don't realize how important the tongue is, especially when it comes to speaking....

I asked Dr. House. He says it's lupus.

Day 3 now. My tongue looks the same, but it's very hard to eat or talk. When I eat not only is it painful but the food gets stuck in my teeth and I can't get it out because my tongue stings if I try. I can't move my tongue a lot so it's hard to words come out, when I'm talking it just sounds like noises. My mouth is constantly full of saliva for some reason which makes it even harder to talk. If I open my mouth for 5 seconds I start drooling.

Saliva heals wounds. Your mouth is trying to heal the cuts in the sides of your tongue by salivating. Wounds in the mouth heal very quickly for this reason, compared to wounds on the outside of the body.
You probably just shoved your tongue forward while it was surrounded by your teeth. Those little gaps between your teeth, molars especially, can be filled by your tongue while you're just sitting there with your mouth closed. If they're sharp, they can cut you.

sounds like a canker sore, there are over the counter drugs you can use to ease the pain, sorta like mint like stuff , some are sprays. They do ease the pain a bit, but don't really help it heal. I had that before, and it was cuz i ate too many chips, a food that i wasn't used to eating. Regardless, it'll go away in a week, it was horrible when i had it.
Hoping the pain goes by fast for you.

Did she at least return the favor?

a doctor needs like 5 mins to check it out, i dont know why you waste your time trying to figure it out on your own.
especially since there is a high chace (s)hell say " oh, thats just X, ill give you a little bit of Y and youll be fine in a week". And then your mind can put this at rest.

I couldn't visit the doctor because I was busy on Thursday last week and she doesn't work on Fridays or weekends, so Monday is the earliest I could do that. I did go to the nearest pharmacy and they give me some mouth cream to apply directly to my tongue which won't make the cut go away but will numb the pain. They also said it goes away on its own just give it some time.
