All in all it was an idiotic pick followed by a lackluster game
Was Wukong banned that game?

they couldnt team fight because ALL had no knockups outside of froggens Q so he couldnt ult reliably

It had more to do with Alliance fighting 4v5 every time.

I guess they were going to play like that since pick/ban phase. I have no idea what can go in heads in that moment but eh.

Yasuo doesnt need knockups from his team in 5v5's. His damage is good enough without it and with the short Q cd he will probably get one off anyway

It's also Qtpie's birthday as well.
You could form a pretty decent team with Feb. 21 birthdays apparently.

To be fair Yasuo isnt even that much of a hard counter. If Gragas wants to go in for a kill he bodyslams in and then you cant windwall the followup barrels

All in all it was an idiotic pick followed by a lackluster game No idea why Shook didn't just camp top, Wickd was winning in cs and took tower early, so he just needed to wait in bush and one shot eve. Shook/Froggen didn't ward enemy jungle in mid game, so Wickd without flash was getting destroyed by eve.
Also no idea why they force first dragon, every lane was winning and Wickd didn't have tp. Trundle just comeback by getting global gold and kill.

I'm okay with this weeks MVP. Amazing had tons of insec this week.

wonder if this shows the old guards declining or the younger teams getting better.

Props to all of the teams this week for playing excellent, haven't felt ashamed in any of our losses, even though we're not on top. https://www.facebook.com/Rekkles1/posts/425890847542201?stream_ref=1
Not just attribute it to own mistakes, but givng respect to the opponent. And I think this is what we are seeing here. Lower rated teams came out to play and perform.

Well it's either that or post "my mid's a feeder." Today's game was an absolute manhandling and their last few games have been really suspect.

Some specific moves were a tradeoff, they got first tower by trying (and loosing) that dragon, but frankly put they did not have the composition to teamfight 5v5. Their damage was 75% physical (at the very least) and Renekton is actually countered pretty hard in a teamfight situation by Trundle.
Yasuo can win a teamfight by himself if he can ult on in on a carry and basically 1shot him. In this teamcomp? He would have been destroyed before he had a chance to charge that Q up to allow a knockup.
Frankly Froggen has often picked "arrogantly" (I'll pick this to win my lane hard and then teamfights will come easy from our synergy anyway), but in this game the entire strategy failed. Gragas isn't really countered by Yasuo and Renekton has a hard time the later it gets.
Considering that wicked actually likes playing Malphite I have no idea why they didn't go for that to help the Yasuo.

Alliance forced drake then 2 ppl died and Millenium took drake. Renekton was decent pick, he was ahead and could snowball but then he got ganked and trundle got global gold and assists from drake. Wickd did nothing bad in this game. You need to play aggro and push trundle as renekton. Shook should camp top after fb or ward with Froggen enemy jungle, so Wickd would have idea when ganks are coming. Also top tower was pretty low so even if eve took drake they could take top tower and dive trundle.
The biggest Alliance problem is still ban/pick phase and Shook not making correct decison in mid game.

Biggest [A] problem is that Nyph can't get his balls from SK and manhandle. But i agree, i guess they're not getting gameplan before a game sometimes especially when someone is throwing curve ball to them. Someone have to step up and make pick/bans by his own voice and it can't be Froggen with all my love. Look at Gambit. Who is doing pick/ban phase? Genja. Who makes gameplans? Genja. Who's doing analysis? Genja. Why can't, hell, even Tabzz step up and say - "Dudes, i'm fucking tired of us losing after being in first place last season, so we will get *input something* and do *input something*". Like honestly, it reminds me of when we first started to play competitive dota with friends 4,5 years ago and we were like - "What the fuck is happening here, we need a game plan" after 2 weeks of permalosses. And they have big problems with vision it seems because everytime when objective happened, they had no vision at it for {M} to clear. If after Week 8, [A] won't have 10-10 or 9-11 at least, it will be time for real worries.
