The first game was LITERAL throw. He was up a base, 20 overall supply, and had more workers. SuperNova's next move: THROW ALL UNITS AT OPPONENT. I don't understand how a player can go from grandmaster decision-making to bronze decision-making in like 2 minutes. His micro was amazing during harass yet as soon as he engaged in battle with Trap, he immediately forgot how to play the game. Run SCVs in 20 seconds ahead of army so there was ZERO fucking point in pulling them in the first place? Check. EMP the Observer but then don't kill it anyway? Check. Group up entire army into a narrow space? Check. Run all ghosts directly into the Protoss army (game 2) so they all die before the real engagement? Check. Just so disappointing when Game 1 started so well.

Guess all the best T just suddenly forgot how to play at the same time. Now that all the supposedly "best T" in EU got badly crushed in IEM and Azus ROG, guess another stupid argument had to be found. Hard to call Terran underpowered when supernova was using the Terran pieces very poorly. The better player very very very clearly won these games. Nobody is saying terran is underpowered based on Trap against SuNo games. Some of us are saying it based on overall numbers and the way matchup works. Supernova was far from top form today in all his games and he is obviously helpless and has 0 confidence in his TvP. If you want to discuss weather terran is UP or not you should go to balance discussion thread anyway, I will happily share my thoughts on why I consider that protoss has an obvious advantage overall. But this is not a place for that.

Terran is already hurt enough that one more nerf won't do much imo :D If anything it could help us get to Bronze league faster. Some ancient legends tell of Bronze league as the realm of TvT.

Leenock spawns on the top left, Trap on the bottom right. Trap gets his first pylon at the natural, preparing for FFE, Leenock does offensive hatch block. 4:00 Leenock lets the hatch finishes, upon dying the broodlings kill 1 probe. Trap finishes his wall and adds a gas Leenock gets a natural and a 3rd expo, Trap takes his own expo.

He looked to be way further ahead then he was. He did play well but he was playing against a clock. He had no armory started and no third base down. I think Protoss was at 0/2 with High Templars already. By the time the armory had finished and 2/2 started Trap probably would be 3/3 on probably the hardest map in the map pool to engage properly against Splash Damage.
