Someone organize a series of showmatches. People would always tune in to watch Jaedong vs Flash. You could probably make multiple matches and still get great value every time.

Wtf is this conversation. I wish Jaedong return to proleague and All-Kill KT Rolster.

GSL is the hardest tournament in the world and if JD wants to posture with lame challenges, that's the place to be. Not random foreign tournaments.

Flash hasn't had nearly as much exposure, but I have no doubt that such a meeting would be beyond epic.
If only they were both able to play in the IEM winner-takes-all finals..... The tension would be sublime.

Actually, in terms of player pool, GSL is the not the hardest tournament in the world. The KR qualifiers for foreign events are, since they have all the players from GSL and a lot of Koreans playing in NA, EU.
Yes, WCS KR is tougher than WCS NA, EU, I don't think anyone will argue that.
But JD showed by getting second in season 2 and global finals that he can beat the top players from KR which Flash hasn't shown in individual leagues since MLG. I mean if JD dominated NA and then got crushed by KR players at those tournaments, you would have an argument.

Go Jaedong and Flash! I wanna see them vs each other again. JD still is 2-0 in sc2

All those foreign tournaments were chalk full of GSL level Koreans, and he showed he was dominant in every situation that wasn't a finals. It's not like he was just beating up foreigners in online cups...
Give him some credit.

Even if JD were to come over to Korea to play in GSL again, Flash still got kicked out with his nose first last time around. It doesn't matter if they're both in Korea when Flash is in Code B.
Also, I'm very intrigued by your being a fan of JD. You seem like a very salty fan.

You can't argue against that it's much more likely to drop a series at any stage of the tournament in GSL than it is in WCS AM, doesn't matter how good you are.

PL is still a premier tournament but its importance is a lot lower than it was in BW. The Korean fan base is either in LoL or back to BW. The foreign fan base has events like IEM, ASUS, DH, etc. Proleague, GSL and maybe Blizzcon/season finals are the be all end all of SC2. JD participates in one of those, and mostly because he dodges GSL to get there. LOL the fact that's put JD and "dodge" in the same context shows that you know absolutely nothing about JD .... It has absolutely nothing to do 'knowing JD'. It's a fact. Doesn't matter if it's only to appease EG. It's still a dodge. You still can't say with confidence that JD wouldn't do well in GSL. First of all JD has beaten Dear (2x season 3 champion), Maru(season 2 ) champion, MVP (4 time GSL winner who can pull himself back to the top at any moment), and the list goes on of formidable opponents. It's also pretty safe to say that flash is a preparation based player, which explains why he had such a good proleague record but loses 0-2 to dimaga... JD has proved to be able to prepare for opponents as well since he's done it in brood war (3 OSLs and 2 MSLs) AND he's able to consistently place high at tournaments what involve playing several BOXs per day. You can say JD "dodge"ed GSL but you have no way of saying he won't do well or possibly win one. The facts are against you lol I didn't contest anything of what you wrote here... Where did I say he couldn't do well or possibly win GSL? I didn't. GSL is the hardest tournament in the world and if JD wants to posture with lame challenges, that's the place to be. Not random foreign tournaments. You said JD participated in blizzcon bc he dodged GSL... Actually, I said mostly. Read it again. You can't argue against that it's much more likely to drop a series at any stage of the tournament in GSL than it is in WCS AM, doesn't matter how good you are. OOooooo then flash will mostly just drop out early in foreign tournaments
I don't understand this conclusion.

Not random foreign tournaments. Even if JD were to come over to Korea to play in GSL again, Flash still got kicked out with his nose first last time around. It doesn't matter if they're both in Korea when Flash is in Code B. Also, I'm very intrigued by your being a fan of JD. You seem like a very salty fan.
Meh i was a huge Jaedong fan before and always defended him in BW's power rank , because he was the undisputed best player from 2007 to 2010... some people argued otherwise , not because winning a ton of individual leagues , but also because he was carring his team in Proleague . Back then him and Flash were puting in the works carring their teams and advancing far in individual leagues as expected of them .
Now it seems Jaedong has an easier time , no teamleague commitment whatsoever , doesn't play in the korean qualifiers which is magnitudes harder then the other qualifiers and EG flies him to all the big events , which gives him the chance to showoff a lot more then Flash . Flash still doing fine in Proleague as always , but struggles in the one individual league that he can actually play in . Results wise right now (as in this last tournaments they played) they both don't impress much and seem about equal .Gameplay wise - Flash sucks in TvP , Jaedong seems to suck in ZvT as i wasn't impressed in his games against ForGG whatsoever recently .
I guess having more exposure is Jaedong's compensation for not having as a solid team as KT to back him up before , so i guess both players got what they deserve . Financially i don't know which player sits better right now , but just from the perspective of who is playing in a more competitive environment Flash gets a node up from me . You say that Flash got kicked out code A which is true , but YongHwa and BraVo's level in those games is way higher then what Jaedong is getting as a first match in his was it EU or US qualifier , i don't remember . There is no evidence that Jaedong can do better or worse then Flash in Code A unless he comes to Korea and quallfies from code B and A qualifiers . That's not really the point , the point is that Jaedong calls out Flash , but they perform in different environments and the chance to meet each other is either Flash has to step up his game and reach top 4 in GSL which is insanely hard , Jaedong too has to reach WCS finals , or Jaedong comes to Korea . Flash can't go to this foreign tournaments , because of Proleague commitments . I hope Kespa team follow CJ example and send some of their players to foreign events , and hopefully they don't get the side effects that CJ gets in Proleague .
Flash shows results in Proleague , Jaedong shows results in foreign tournaments .

Therefore, JD would like Flash to get rid off this pressure that he has to do well, so that Flash can approach his individual league matches with a calm mindset, so that two can meet at a high place again no matter what. I think the real solution would be JD coming back to the Green Wings and facing Flash in the ace match of the Proleague Finals. Do you realise Maru + JD + sOs is a sickly frightening combo :O? sOs is too random.
