Actually, in terms of player pool, GSL is the not the hardest tournament in the world. The KR qualifiers for foreign events are, since they have all the players from GSL and a lot of Koreans playing in NA, EU.
Yes, WCS KR is tougher than WCS NA, EU, I don't think anyone will argue that.
But JD showed by getting second in season 2 and global finals that he can beat the top players from KR which Flash hasn't shown in individual leagues since MLG. I mean if JD dominated NA and then got crushed by KR players at those tournaments, you would have an argument.

Even if JD were to come over to Korea to play in GSL again, Flash still got kicked out with his nose first last time around. It doesn't matter if they're both in Korea when Flash is in Code B.

Meh i was a huge Jaedong fan before and always defended him in BW's power rank , because he was the undisputed best player from 2007 to 2010... some people argued otherwise , not because winning a ton of individual leagues , but also because he was carring his team in Proleague . Back then him and Flash were puting in the works carring their teams and advancing far in individual leagues as expected of them .
Now it seems Jaedong has an easier time , no teamleague commitment whatsoever , doesn't play in the korean qualifiers which is magnitudes harder then the other qualifiers and EG flies him to all the big events , which gives him the chance to showoff a lot more then Flash . Flash still doing fine in Proleague as always , but struggles in the one individual league that he can actually play in . Results wise right now (as in this last tournaments they played) they both don't impress much and seem about equal .Gameplay wise - Flash sucks in TvP , Jaedong seems to suck in ZvT as i wasn't impressed in his games against ForGG whatsoever recently .
I guess having more exposure is Jaedong's compensation for not having as a solid team as KT to back him up before , so i guess both players got what they deserve . Financially i don't know which player sits better right now , but just from the perspective of who is playing in a more competitive environment Flash gets a node up from me .
You say that Flash got kicked out code A which is true , but YongHwa and BraVo's level in those games is way higher then what Jaedong is getting as a first match in his was it EU or US qualifier , i don't remember .
There is no evidence that Jaedong can do better or worse then Flash in Code A unless he comes to Korea and quallfies from code B and A qualifiers .
That's not really the point , the point is that Jaedong calls out Flash , but they perform in different environments and the chance to meet each other is either Flash has to step up his game and reach top 4 in GSL which is insanely hard , Jaedong too has to reach WCS finals , or Jaedong comes to Korea . Flash can't go to this foreign tournaments , because of Proleague commitments . I hope Kespa team follow CJ example and send some of their players to foreign events , and hopefully they don't get the side effects that CJ gets in Proleague .
Flash shows results in Proleague , Jaedong shows results in foreign tournaments .
