As it stands, all of Korea has an outstanding challenge against Jaedong to dare compete in national leagues. And I say this not as a Flash fanboy or Jaedong hater, but as a disappointed Jaedong fan. JD is getting closer and closer to 30 with no education People need to realise their role models need to think about their future. With 30 JD has to live at least 40+ more years with the money he has earned up to then. Any disappointed fan of a player is not a real fan at all.

Also, if it's really as bad as you describe then the best for JD would be to simply not start this lame posturing in the first place.

Maybe if Flash actually got close to blizzcon...

Are you trying to say that Foreign events are harder than GSL? Shame on players trying to establish their own play style right, Flash is so bad trying to get Mech to work for him in TvZ. MKP had his own play style as well as Inca. It is great that players have their own style, but when it doesn't work, they need to be flexible enough to adapt. LoL players are rated based on their champion pools, sc2 player should be rated based on their builds and styles they can play. So yes, if you cannot play other styles, you are not a top pro. It is great to have a signature style, but that doesn't mean you exclusive play that strategy, because unlike BW, you can be expose if you only play a certain style in SC2.

Knowing the competitor JD is, I'm pretty sure he would like to play in GSL and proleague. it's more than likely that's he's obligated to play in AM and more foreign tournaments because he's on EG, as is taeja, hero, POLT, Hyun, stardust, and anyone that's a big name figure on a foreign team

So basically you are PL fan that feels PL is the be all and end all like it was in BW... Sorry to burst your bubble. PL is still a premier tournament but its importance is a lot lower than it was in BW. The Korean fan base is either in LoL or back to BW. The foreign fan base has events like IEM, ASUS, DH, etc.

In 2014, we only have Blizzcon.

JD participates in one of those, and mostly because he dodges GSL to get there.

PL is still the most meaningful league in e-sports . Without it Kespa team's sponsors wouldn't have anything to throw their money at and there would be no teams . With no sponsors don't expect GSTL/GSL/WCS to nourish 100+ korean progamers.

LOL the fact that's put JD and "dodge" in the same context shows that you know absolutely nothing about JD ....

I believe his point was that Flash is just finding what suits him best as in, in BW, he would go 14cc and get countered everytime until he eventually got it to work so maybe he's trying to do something similar in SCII although I dunno if that will work tbh.
