Making fun of a failed prediction is ok. But when you see 20 posts on reddit about it with titles like 'F*uck you Artosis ffs' it's really stupid. No one in this thread is saying fuck you artosis, we're all having a laugh at how what artosis predicts never seems to happen, even though they're perfectly valid predictions. I've actually seen more than 1 thread with such a title. Apparently it stopped being a joke for some people.
Then it's probably those assholes who Artosis would like to shut up, not us. ^^ We're not being nasty about it

Also, reddit != TL. We're generally more respectful here and less... trolly.

Should add some predictions he got right.
So all of GSL open season 2 as he bet on Nestea the entire way. All of NASL as he bet on Puma the entire way. Last night he bet on Soulkey and Parting over Pigbaby and Swagger.

Although today after the 1st match of Soulkey vs Pigbaby, Tasteless asked something along the lines of "do you think Pigbaby has any chance of winning this next game" and Artosis answered negatively (not sure if it was a "definitely not" or something less extreme). And lo and behold, Pigbaby crushed Soulkey even though he would then lose the rubber match.
Anyway I think BlackPanther said he won't be including predictions unless there's concrete proof (tweets/vods/podcasts etc). :/

This is correct. I added the PigBaby vs Soulkey one because Artosis specifically stated that Pigbaby didn't have a chance. While artosis probably thought that Parting was going to win, he never specifically stated it. Does anyone else know if he predicted the other three matches? I wasn't up when they happened.

Pigbaby got pretty close. Anyway, I think he has solidified his reputation for the next PL. He will have big games for Jin Air as they move forward. Not like Kim Carrier didn't make a few right predictions either but hell is ratio was ridiculously bad.

i agree with this

it happened again during the Keen-Symbol series in GSL. Symbol went up 1-0 and Tasteless asked Artosis if Keen could come back and he says no i don't think Keen can win this.

Artosis just predicted AZUBUSleep to not make it past his next group in WCS Korea GSL during the GSL Group D broadcast (roughly 3h 56 min into broadcast, end of game 3 of Sleep v Bbyong). Quote: "I think he's donezo, Tasteless." when discussing Sleep's future in this season of GSL, specifically the next round. We'll see what happens..

Someone should go through some old sotg watch where they predicted mlgs and stuff. Also I'd assume that the 3 seasons Nestea won he probably got a lot right. On top of my head I can add GSL 2011 July Code S when mc faced hongun in like ro8 and artosis predicted MC to win which resulted in hongun 4 gating his way through if I recall correctly.

if you're in the public eye, you take whatever popularity and visibility you can get as a sign of success. by and large no one is saying "artosis is a horrible caster, fire artosis" or insulting him as a person - certainly anyone who is doing that is no different from any other brand of internet troll, and every figure in the community has SOMEONE who hates them and will act nastily toward them.
for him to act as if he's above a silly joke at his expense coming from people who aren't as successful or popular as him comes off as incredibly arrogant, entitled and self-absorbed. there is about as much chance of artosis' career being hurt by the curse meme as there is a chance of me hurting radiohead's career by pointing out that no one likes pablo honey. any celebrity in any field or scene who rejects parodies at their own expense instantly loses respect from me. parody is the public's way of leveling the playing field, so to speak, and if you deny the public that right you come off as... well, sort of a dick.
