How do you feel about that? Before I came today I already thought that it would be very difficult. In the end I had to play Rain hyung twice in order to advance after much difficulty. There were two matches against Rain. After I had lost the first match, I thought that I wouldn't be able to advance to the next round today. But before the final match, I watched the match between Gumiho and Rain hyung, and I thought that Gumiho's style seemed to really fit me, and so I played like that. That worked out really well, switching up from a macro style into an attacking style. Things didn't start off well, losing to Rain in match 1. Originally, my playstyle is a really stable type. My opponent seemed really comfortable with my usual type of opening, and so I eventually switched to an attacking style of playing to play mind games with him. I also played a very active style in the last match. The loser's match was a really easy victory. The opponent was Hyun, a player that you lost to in the previous season. TvZ was really difficult to play in Wings of Liberty. I'm confident now that we've switched to Heart of the Swarm. As long as I don't make a mistake, I definitely can win. When you met Rain again in the final match, were you more confident after watching his games against Gumiho? I was watching the games between Rain hyung and Gumiho in the resting area, and I realised that he was tricked very hard by mind games. With that in mind, I thought that I might be able to win against him. Having gotten 8 consecutive wins in SPL, you've now also made it to the round of 16 of Code S. For SPL, it's a Bo1, and the important thing is to do a lot of preparation before the game. For individual leagues, the main thing being tested is fundamentals, and so I really wasn't nervous. I also believe I'll be able to do well in the future. What's your goal? My goal is of course to win. There're 3 WCS tournaments this year. I hope I can win the championship in one of them. | ||
