I know jaedong didn't play perfect but he did not play anywhere near as awful as you make it out to be. Being caught by an un scouted 7 gate and having a late roach warren he defended extremely well even though the toss messed up and lost the warp prism.
He honestly could have defended vs that immortal/sentry push better sure, but I wouldn't say anywhere close to terrible.

Though i would agree that JD made some mistakes, but under alot of presure it was impressive to me he kept picking off the mothercore and the warp prism, also his muta runby was great, all in all you can't say he played terrible either.

GG how did he play terribly? Suiciding units left and right, not having units to defend, losing the same base 3times and ofc the supply blocks. Did you watch the game? Sure he won but the play was terrible. You must not have fight often against immortal sentry. His defense was pretty good, even if he lost his third. Lot of zerg would die to it.
Well obviously not since I don't play Zerg.
But loosing all of your roaches to nothing only because your control was awful isn't good. He was never really prepared to defend his 2/3rd base.
I don't know but if I know the opponent is coming to kill my base I make sure to have units to defend...

Taeja minimizes his playing. Plus i think both the OGN and GOM studio are far from his house. He has said in multiple interviews he doesnt like having to go to the studio often because of this.

i always felt terran was the riskier race to play since the begening of sc2

does this map remind anyone else of peaks of baekdu / crossfire?

Soulkey vs HerO
The map is Bel'Shir Vestige.
Soulkey starts in the top left position HerO starts in the bottom right position
4:00min Soulkey goes for Pool on 15 Supply, Hero starts with the 17 Forge and 18 Nexus HerO blocks the natural of Soulkey with a Pylon, Soulkey takes his third first
HerO goes for Gateway before Cannon, Soulkey only builds 2 Zerglings and is now able to take his natural

They really have a terrible observer T_T

Jaedong lost the game, then Aria decided to have all of his zealots chase queens around mineral lines so his all in did ZERO damage. Yet, through bad decisions, Jaedong lost his third and macro hatch to a half-assed immortal sentry second all-in where one of the immortals was instantly picked off while he completely forgot about the recall ability. Even though Aria could win right there with a base trade as Jaedong had nothing at home, he recalls and defends, putting him ahead. However, Aria decided that he doesn't want to react to Mutalisks and lost all of his probes. His reaction time was 4 full seconds from when the mutalisks entered his vision, he even had stalkers right there. Jaedong then decides to suicide in to Aria's 2nd losing everything for nothing and putting Aria back in the game. Then Aria decides to attack in to spine crawlers (terribly positioned), ignoring the 2nd where he could have won the game by killing all the morphing crawlers, killing the third and walking up in to 30 spine crawlers.
Terrible game by both players.

Sure he won but the play was terrible. It seems that only terrible games in SC2 are interesting right now. When they both play well, then it's a single death ball clash battle. You should watch Proleague more often and not only when EG-TL plays. Becuase ofc there will be terrible games then The games so far have been pretty damn good.
I am just saying that jaedong game is not terribly played by either player, it is pretty fast paced and very entertaining.
