Okay so I have been in an on and off relationship since 2010. We were first introduced through a friend I really didn't know very well back in my first year of University. My other friends knew her for quite a few years before her and I met, but when we met it was love at first sight. We initially spent all of our time together, she was there when I studied on campus, when I ate lunch, she'd be at home waiting for me, and I just couldn't get enough of her.
None of my friends or family really liked her, thought that she was taking up too much of my time, and would basically ignore her when she was around. Neither of us cared though, we had each other.
Creatively, she was my inspiration, without her I may have not got to where I am in my music, and thanks to her I met some pretty amazing people around the world. Some of my coolest experiences were thanks to her. She got me a plane for the first time, flying down to Providence. Probably my most memorable moment with her.
Recently though, I found that school was taking priority in my life, along with trying to run my own music production company. I still see her, but not as much as I'd like. I want to change thing this summer. I want her to be a big part of my life, because I don't think I am really myself without her.
I love you E-Sports, and I want to make this work ♥ (I know long misleading intro for no good reason).
So this Summer I propose a challenge to everyone out there. DO MORE FOR HER.
My Goals? Well I already watch as many event as I can (especially the major ones) and have attended Providence, NASL (Canada), and Barcrafts. But I think there are a few ways I can help.
1. Buy HotS
2. Watching amateur streams not just pro streams
3. Put more effort into my CSL team, promoting them, and if I can afford it, holding events for the surrounding CSL teams
4. Create community contests (had one planned for MLG, but someone beat me to the punch and really implemented it better than I would have).
5. Go to MORE events!
6. Create content for the community!
7. Volunteer with the E-Sports Canada (if I can't afford to contribute financially)
8. Stop being BM on ladder
9. Offering my services relating to either my business degree, or production company to anyone who wants it for E-Sports things
10. Buy a bloody subscription to something E-Sports!
If you guys have any other ideas please help me out, I want to be able to do more! With our first album being released this summer, I hope to be able to put some of my profits into E-Sports!
Much Luv!
