It kinda seems that he's (and others) managing things is like the opposite of what other teams seem to be doing. However, I think it's also great that TB is posting so much info and answering so many questions on TL, because that's something a lot of teams also don't really do. They talk to the community about how transparent their business is being ran; which is pretty meta.
It's really cool that you're stating to us how you're running the team and what not -- are you at all afraid that other teams might start stealing your business model and competing with you? I mean, it's not that bad of a thing if they do, but you know, I'd like to know your thoughts on the matter.
Thank you for your disclosure and for what you're doing! <3 He's not thinking about just his team by the looks of it. If other ESF teams followed a similar business model, then we wouldn't have teams disbanding and players trying to go to Kespa/other foreign teams. More stability for teams and players means more stability for the Korean SCII scene as a whole.
TB said when he started Axiom that his focus is on making SC2 as healthy in korea as it is elsewhere. Thats why his Shoutcraft tours are now far more focused on giving korean players stable ways to make money and why his team is all Koreans (unless i missed something). I'm sure he would be over the moon if eSF teams started doing business properly, using some of his methods.

Excellent looking game-house, I have to say TB is not only an amazing personality/caster he also seems to have a savvy business sense. Although I cannot say how much of that is Genna as well, either way Axiom looks to have a bright future with responsible and intelligent owners. Good luck TB, Genna and the rest of Axiom and thank you for your commitment to esports, I can't express how much I appreciate positive signs in the SC2 community right now, with all the other negative events that have happened over second part of 2012 mostly.

TB, Love the house and to people saying that TB makes it out to be a 3rd world country, he was spot on with what he said, but then the reasons why are
1. Ovens are not useful. Most Korean food is a soup or grilled food, there is nothing that needs an oven. 2. Bathrooms as he said are everything. There is no seperate shower, and most rental places won't have a bath as there are bath houses everywhere in Korea where they go. So a shower is for those day to day activities. 3. Different countries have different niches. I mean, that house in Tokyo would be way more expensive than it would be where they are. He also hit the market at the perfect time, as house prices are dropping across Korea.
Also TB, you need someone to teach English? I know a few teachers who know nothing about starcraft but are great tutors

Or maybe some GomTV league? Dunno if they officially said it, but rumor has it they are looking to join GSTL. Doubt they will get in to proleague unless another team disbands as proleague has always and will always be 8 teams.
Not sure where you got the idea that proleague has always been 8 teams. Because there were many more teams in Proleague previously.

Can't wait to see how everything is once computers, beds, etc. are moved in!

If say.... Axiom were to be participating in a team league.... Since that was the stated requirements for getting the Ax logos here.

It's not privately funded, is it? I mean, I assume those two sponsor it through.... actual sponsors? Or is it just a privately funded team?

It's privately funded for now, TB has said they are looking for actual sponsors.

So far it's CynicalBrit and Husky. TB's talked about getting actual sponsors on line though, imagine there will be plenty in time.

It's a privately funded team.
TotalBiscuit and Husky use revenue taken from subscriptions on Youtube, sales from Cynical Brit t-shirts and so on as the basis for their funds. I believe they do have the cooperation of Twitch though, and probably some others.

Great! I'm sure we'll soon have the Axiom logo available to put in the signature line.

CynicalBrit and Husky are actual sponsors... they are looking to get corporate sponsorship. Big difference.

TB/genna, you guys rock. such a nice place you guys found for the team.
can we please have ax.symbol, ax.squirtle and a GSTL appearance? :-D

With PartinGs and now Squirtles departure from ST, AX may become my favorite team. Increadible news anyway!
TB, thanks for your long post on page 3. I've been following your stuff from all the way back from your vid on Orgrimmar in Cata alpha, so it is really nice to see you having success with the team. Cheers!
Sooo.... can we expect any AX merchandise any time soon? (or possibly a new sponsor anouncement?)
