Well, a poem about a girl. It follows the progression of our relationship. Fuck feelings.
you catch my eye i touch you on the shoulder you don't even try your gaze crushes me like a boulder
i have you in my arms i'm locked into fear i used my charms to kick you into gear
in another man you have confided bruised, but i will not relent it seems your heart has divided more pain i will not prevent
you tell me that you desire us platonic your actions are choking your word my feelings become stirred in a tonic my intentions too, are blurred
they say us together is a sin but my love you have been stealing this must be the happiest i've been but i am more than a feeling
my dear, you must make a decision please spare my feelings no longer all or nothing with deadly precision choose what will make us stronger

A great poem and well written. Hopefully things work out for the best in the end!

Awww cute poem even though I didn't necessarily like it as a poem in and of itself ><
Best of luck, yo.

The song "Nothing Without You" by Marcus Schultz was based off of the perspective of a stalker. He jokingly called it a stalker trance anthem haha you're poem has potential.

We had a thing. She got back with her ex. Continues her feelings towards me and acts as if we still had something.
The poem encompasses my frustration over her indecisiveness.

The twist is that the OP is also a girl.

you know she is sparing your feelings by leading you on, using her classic girl tactics. you know she chose him.if you took her back,[sorry, if SHE took YOU back]] could you trust her a second time?
just turn your back, feel empowered, and live freely.
imo^^

I just saw her today. She walked up to me and I pulled her aside to lay down the hammer. I told her by us talking, we're only escalating our feelings towards each other, that the path of least resistance will always lead us astray, and we need to ultimately quit speaking with each other. She took it badly and was really upset. I can still see her face...
Maybe when times change, we can meet on a higher level as friends or more.
Once again, thank you for your advice. It solidified my desire to carry out what I knew needed to be done. I feel empowered.

Beautiful poem, and a similar situation I can relate to. God speed in turning your thoughts away from someone who plays with your heart.
