"Dropping a Zerg during an engagement is critical to Terran's success in the mid/late game (sometimes dropping in multiple locations at once). There are 2 possibilities that come from dropping a Zerg right before or during an engagement: A) The Zerg player pulls back units to defend the drop before the engagement happens, weakening his main army. This will usually result in the Terran player gaining a more favorable position on the map. or B) The Zerg player waits until the main army engagement is over before dealing with the drop. This usually results in some damage being done by the Terran, either by sniping tech buildings or killing drones." This assumes that the drops weren't scouted adequately or prepared for in any way. Zenio got caught with his pants down but many players will leave a contingent force of 10-15 zerglings and a couple banelings at home to guard against drops...or even an infestor as well. With about 20 supply you can minimize the damage of drops. I hate to say it but Zenio isn't really the best representative for Zergs right now. Flash just dismantled him though, and had some really well thought out strategies.

Flash just dismantled him though, and had some really well thought out strategies. So you expect him to have 15 zerglings and couple of banelings at his third and main? Maybe his third - But not necessarily his main b/c his army is so close to it. It's a tricky situation, Zenio NEEDED all of the units that he could muster in order to try and deal with Flash's army in the most efficient way possible, however also needed to deal with Flash's drop play afterwards. I would agree though - in different situations, it usually takes 1-2 drops in succession to break into a zerg's main and cause damage (first drop snipes banelings and kills some lings, next drop actually deals the damage). Also keep in mind that since the Kespa map is so big scouting is a problem. I don't think it's feasible to expect Zenio to have overlords EVERYWHERE - Flash would simply pick them off with his mid game viking (as he did) or as he pushes out with his +2/+2 timing push.
