Listen to anything Marv, Hapa, and Iamp say over anything I say Marv had scum nailed d1. Marv is boss though but it shows you guys were catchable Scum Kickstart - Your main tell was calling oats bad and wanting to lynch him. Calling a player bad means you most likely think they are town. Wanting to lynch a player you think is town = scummy as hell Helo - Marv noticed that you were, in general, uninvolved in town d1. Also, you seemed to completely ignore kickstart, who Marv had already nailed by then Town Yamato - Your main problem was locking in to your reads. You need to keep an open mind as town and reconsider your reads every so often. I usually do so after each day/night post using the new info. I suggest you read the guides, especially Ver's XXX analysis, to help with your reads more. It'll come with experience for sure. Don't be too tough on yourself this game. You picked it up after d1 and tried to push your reads. That's half the battle Cheesecake - We covered most in coaching. Most of your problem was not being able to distinguish between bad town and scum, which is quite hard at times SDM - I'm pretty sure you talked to Marv for coaching. I'd say he has better input than me. One thing I'd say is that you overthink things once in a while. However, you had a solid game, hence the n1 nk. Aqua - Your d1 case on kickstart was good, but you let it get ignored. Push your reads!!!!!!!!! At worst, you lynch a townie. At best, you lynch a scum. At least you lynch the person that you think is scummiest, which is the most important. You probably wouldn't have been lynched d2 if you were more aggressive d1 Munk-E - activity was your main problem. As town, you have three jobs 1) Be active 2) Establish your townieness 3) Scumhunt 2 and 3 pretty much work with each other. If you don't have 1) though, chances are you don't have 2) and 3) Just be active and post your thoughts on what's going on. At worst, you get lynched and provide town with reads. Your lynch gave town little information Jacob - You got the picture pretty well. I don't have much to say on you. For a while on d1 I found you scummy, but that's just me :D. Marv might have better input here Oats - Oh oats, dear oats. Your d1 really hurt the town. Your were being too obnoxious, and in most normal games, you probably would have been lynched d1. Establish your townieness and scumhunt. You can't use that blue role as a safety net. You made yourself worthless in terms of night actions. Also, by having that claim, the longer you didn't get nked, the more suspicions will be raised on you. Be more compatible with your town, especially when you have a valuable power role

Good thing town didn't? xD If we weren't so preoccupied with Yamato/Oats shenanigans I think I would've picked up on it. Summary of this game: Town played bad, and then suddenly Aqua lynch.

Incognito's Newbie Guide to Mafia wrote: When you have limited KP and multiple targets you wish to eliminate, it is important to prioritize your kills. 1. Posters that are making sense and are on the right track 2. Townies that are known for being dangerous analysts 3. Blue roles (especially DTs and Medics) 4. Confirmed townies I'd say SDM falls under one of the first two, particularly in a newbie. On the other hand, he might have been too obvious as a kill (and thus protect)

Always kill the most townie, strong players. They're usually more dangerous than the good ole blues. Blue roles aren't as great as they seem most of the time
