Hi, I'm Chris. Short as possible thread gogo. Here is a brief introduction of myself:
I'm a 17 year-old nerd, "no lifer," that has a few friends in real life, (which aren't real friends), and I'm a single child basically. My brother was 16 years old when I was born, and my younger sister was born when I was almost 16 (weird timing right?) When I was about 5 years old my baby brother died at birth. t.t
I went to two pre-schools, one elementary school, three middle schools, and three highschools. I obviously moved a lot! My parents have been divorced since I was 6, and I would live with my dad for a year, and live with my mom for a few years etc etc etc.
I'm not an outgoing guy, so I'm not going to use all of the information above as an excuse for having no friends.
So basically I've always had a few internet friends but not enough to always have someone to play/talk with while I'm playing. It'd be cool if I could find a few new friends that I could IM/chat with on skype.
PC games that I play the most: Sc2, cod4, minecraft.
My skype username is Freeezd. (it has 3 "e"s)
tl;dr I need some friends because I'm a loser.

I feel for you bro, all I can say is you're definitely not alone. There are people who care about you, I mean you sound like a neat person, I would totally be your friend. And this coming from someone who barely has any friends IRL but tries to be a badass online!:p
You're only 17, you're young, be happy with life and do things you enjoy! Good luck!

I'm in gold league but like I said I don't play ladder at all. Last season I played like 5 ladder games. Right now I'm playing terran but I also like to play zerg... you? I get about 180-220 apm average but still need to work on multitasking during battles.
Oh and I posted my skype in the OP

Oh and I posted my skype in the OP Unfortunately since I am a college student, I only have time to ladder. I don't even chat with any of the people on my friends list anymore really :/
I play terran, I am "mid masters". Rank 11 atm so not top 8 yet... I get about 260-300 average apm and have no problem during multitasking battles. I just need to spend more time playing the game really to get better L.

I don't play sc2 or really any computer game anymore so I can't really help you there.. but I might suggest getting into some of the more social nerd activities... look for a local shop that runs Magic or tabletop games like Warhammer 40k or RPG games like DnD or Shadowrun... that is what I did to help build up a social life

This.
There really isn't any reason these days not to be social, even if you are a "nerd."
Stuff like Magic The Gathering or Warhammer is incredibly social, whilst being arguably even more nerdy than Starcraft 2.

I forgot to put in the OP that I preferred video games over every other nerdy thing out there. The first time I picked up a gameboy when I was 5, I was hooked. I tried the pokemon card game and yugioh but it didn't feel the same as video games... The only good RPG game I've played and liked was Skyrim and I do know MMORPGs are quite social. I played runescape for about 5 years and it was great, but they recently updated it so you could buy in-game levels which really ruined the game for me, so I ended up quitting t.t

MMORPGs can be fairly social if you want them to be, but I still suggest looking into some other things that you haven't tried yet. The card games are one thing and it seems you have tried them, but tabletops such as Warhammer, Malifaux (the one I am currently playing), and Warmachine + Hordes are a completely different style of game that you might enjoy. Also, when I said RPG I didn't mean the computer type. I meant the groups that get together and meet playing dungeons and dragons or shadowrun (this can also be done over a computer.. I know a friend of mine is part of a Shadowrun group that meets over skype)
Even if you don't enjoy it as much, it could be something you like to do on occasion. Usually these things meet only once a week or so, so it isn't that much time commitment and generally you meet people that enjoy video games. I know almost everyone in my Malifaux group plays WoW and they all started new chars on the latest expansion together.
It is just a suggestion to help you get out there and meet people with similar interests... you can take it with a grain of salt, but don't completely disregard something you haven't tried because "video games are the best"
