Hey guys. What's up? Today I've read aTnClouDs weird Blog entry about his awkward behavior to women. That inspired me of writing my own entry about a story in my life. I just write this because I wanna show you that girls can be stupid, too (and not because I still do mind about this. Really.). And I really really hope that this guy won't read this, because he's the biggest Starcraft nerd I've ever met.
I'm actually not sure how old I was. I guess I was like 16 years old, but I'm sure it was two months after me and my first boyfriend broke up. There was this cute italian guy, who was two years older than me. Not many people liked him because he was a huge fan of ironic and sarcasm. He was really nice to me since the first time we met, so I asked for his number and one week later we had our first date. Everything went great and he was the first guy I "loved" (as you can love when you're like 16). We started telephoning every day, even when I was on holiday we skyped every evening and he made me laugh all the time. We trained Starcraft together and we did so much weird stuff. He showed me the positive things in life.
It went like this for exactly one year. (When I think back now, I'm not sure why we weren't in a relationship although everything went great.)
Well. There was this evening when he invited me and two friends of us for a cozy movie evening. At first we watched a random thriller and after a while I lay really close to him. When the movie finished we were hungry and me and a friend went to the kitchen for cooking some food."You like him, don't you?", she asked me. "Are you kidding me? Of course not. He's totally not that type of boy I do like.", I lied. He heard what I had said. He never talked to me anymore. He never replied of any sms I wrote. That made me really sick. When I think back now, I have actually no idea why I replied some shit like this.
Anyone also had an awkward situation too?

could be worse
you could of tried to hug him and got hit in the face

No. That's just Awkwardlvl: aTnClouD

Did you ever tell him specfically how you truly felt. Not everyone wants to reveal it to everyone else -.-. It's things like this, this miscommunication which always screws up everything.

his friends could have harrassed him about you being his booty call when you invited him to your house/room and then harrassed him for not tapping it hard like apparently Italians do LOL.

LOL.
In all seriousness, though, I used to play hockey in high school. There were these twin girls who played too- we would play often together since I played for the boys team and they both played for the girls team.
I remember hanging out with them often, and one day one of their closest friends asked me on AIM "Which twin are you going for?" Like a 15 y.o. idiot, I gave her a straight answer. The girls then decided it was a game, and to make me feel as awkward and as unwanted as possible.
That was shitty. I lost some good friends that way - don't talk to them anymore. But I always thought that girl was one of the prettiest girls I'd ever known. Not sure how I could have known to act differently though. Girls are cruel, yo.
On the upside, we are friends on Facebook, but we've both got significant others at this point. Haha!

Ah right. I didn't finish reading that either cuz I was at work or too tired. thx.
On topic. Saying you don't like a guy because you don't want your friends to think that of you isn't awkward. It's mean and shallow. A girl once called me an asshole for making jokes about how she should play a ninja character at league of legends and I felt pretty bad for it. It made me question whether she was a nice person at all and whether I should remain friends with her. The joke was in bad taste as I was asking about why muslim women wear hijabs and commented about them being ninjas but still... that hurt. It's harsh but that's my take at least. I've done mean things too out of fear of being labeled.

Guys seem to think I'm gay or something because I don't make any moves to date anyone whatsoever. I just do my school work and thats that. Reason? I got fucked up by girls before like this and in other situations (when dating, when about to ask to go out, when asking for #, when just talking to another girl who I was friends with beforehand, bla bla bla... -_-"). So, instead I make friends with girls, but don't date them, at least, not yet

You should have pretended that you were talking about his passive turtling in SC. Real men mix in cheese.
|
Did he hear what you said as in: He's standing right beside you or He's in the other room and you spoke too loudly?
Either way, you could have said something along the lines of "I don't like other people knowing...etc...etc"

Wow that's actually totally normal lol. It sucks because there are a few times where you have to figure out whether she was lying, or you are gonna get a restraining order -_-.

arent u only 17 now? if u were 16 its only a year ago, how do u feel about him compared to the guy in ur last blog, lets say the italian dude wanted to get back together with you but u already told the sc2-dude u liked him, and he likes u back, who would u chose, because the italian dude didnt really do anything wrong ( apart from acting a bit suddenly with never talking to u again) but u do u still have feelings for him?
also congrats on posting more on tl, i love girl blogs or guy blogs, just blogs of this sort of things, 15/16 of ur posts are i this week
