Until the weekend though, this might keep you dancing. DJ Beatdown, a memeber of OMW Productions released his second single, keeping to his video game feel.
Hope you enjoy, I'll be back Saturday!

No offense but this sounds soooo chaotic that it's just not listenable or enjoyable for me. You throw in too much random things that don't fit together.

The bass is also very weak in the mix, and I didn't hear any real lows. And that's just critiquing the sound quality.

something more constructive: - more punch in the kick. make it louder, maybe a bit longer too and let it duck the bassline and/or arpeggio lead with a sidechained compressor. - get a bassline, or at least something else to accompany the kick in the low registers - mix it. And by that I mean balance the volume levels of the different voices. Also use stereo pans and effects, they make a whole load of difference - the hihats are pretty "hiphoppy" sounding, because they don't vary at all. Slap some effects on them, vary the samples or the velocity from hit to hit, I dunno. - delay and reverb effects on the snare/clap thingy and drums in general make it sound more dub-like. At the moment it just sounds like pure white noise every other kick Can't really give you advice other than extremely personal opinion on the musical side of things. Tbh I think the melodies are bad. The intro bassline doesn't fit together with the lead arpeggio and both seem pretty random, complicated and unrememberable. I could listen to the melody 10 times over and still wouldn't remember it in the slightest. From 1:30 to 2:05 is (apart from the melody itself) IMO the best part of the whole thing. add some effects to the drums as mentioned above and it sounds good. I just don't like the skrillexy parts, excuse me for that. It's not good music, just obnoxious randomly chopped noise. Some people say it sounds like transformers having sex. I say It's more like a pile of metal junk rolling down a hill. And please don't tell me I'm just close minded for that, I regularly listen to glitchy stuff like autechre and am an extreme guy, so I usually can stand what other simply call "random noise". Skrillex and all the other "Brostep" crap is just a new toy for all those wannabe deathcore scene kiddies who go "dude, did you hear that breakdown?" every 10 seconds, it being the only thing they care about in music. Now they just call it a drop. But I'm sorry, I'm ranting... I'm just getting into producing myself and don't know shit yet, so take it with a grain of salt EDIT: Oh, and I forgot: if you want it to sound more like dubstep, try using a swingy groove on the beat. I don't know how you do it in other DAWs, but in Ableton Live you can simply drag them onto the drums from the groove pool
