I can't fully understand it, but even after owning multiple mechanical keyboards which include:
- das keyboard ultimate s - blackwidow ultimate - 6gv2 - filco tenkeyless brown - meka g1 - qsenn dt 35
I feel that the marauder is the most comfortable and the quickest for me to play on. I don't know why I feel comfortable with using a non mechanical keyboard after using a lot of them..
A lot of people give the keyboard shit and mock it (although I agree 100 or so dollars for non mech sucks), it is really comfortable and I haven't seen my fingers move this quickly in a long time.
I can't tell if mechanical keyboards have a further push point to go down, I know the perks of them is that you are able to "verify" the key press, but even this marauder has a certain bump to it when you press a key (I always bototm out).
So yeah idk, random blog about a random unappreciated keyboard.
Also food for thought: Why do most Korean pros use non mechanical keyboards? (besides the fact that they are easily replaceable)
TLDR: idk man.

My friend as a Marauder as well. There is something about it that just feels good to play on. I myself use a filco tnekeyless blue keyboard, but I still do love using my friends marauder

I feel the same way about my dt-35 after having mech keyboards for some years, i just love it...no explanation so strange...
BTW dt-35 is NOT a mech keyboard

Yup, I enjoy rubber dome alot more, even my old HP crapboard feels better than MX blue switches. I just feel like my hand movements are ALOT more smooth and fluid on these keyboards, which is why I use a dt-35 now ^^.
I do like mechanicals for regular typing, feels nice, but def not for gaming.

the marauder feels like a dt 35 with the rubber casing on to me lol, thats why i prefer it. i have both though

Its kind of how I feel about my WASD, its my first keyboard, I don't think I will ever have anything like it again, I will end up trying the Q-senn and some others, but god do I love the WASD.

i actually just ordered a full sized filco majestouch 2 blue switch today lol, gonna hope its the perfect one

my only problem with the maruader which I love btw is that it's to small I would have liked it if the right side would be longer to fit arrow keys better. Though I will agree it feels pretty good.

I'm using a meka g1, it felt natural right out of the box for me, black switches.

TLDR: idk man. That totally depends on the switches you're using. Blue switches have this bump, whereas linear switches (black/red) don't. I am currently using a mechanical keyboard and I love it. But you're right, it sometimes feels really good typing on a rubber dome keyboard.

Haven't tried the marauder, it's a little hard to get in Norway and I don't feel like ordering an expensive product i'm not even sure about over the internet.
Using a DT-35 atm, though, and if it's anything like that then it's probably really good.

OK so my filco majestouch 2 with blues came in just now.
It feels EXTREMELY different than my DAS...
I can't tell yet if it's good or bad but it makes a lot less click noise (its comparable to the noise of browns) and it feels really different.
Wtf I thought Filco was supposed to reign supreme at this shit.
EDIT: not to mention that it came in shitty packaging.
It almost feels like I need to break in the switches as if it were a black switch board.
