Spoilers:
I was a bit disgusted by the last episode of Fashion King, but I really liked it. The biggest problem of the last episode is that it was rushed. It took about 17 episodes for the main character to reach all the way to the top and just 2 episodes for his downfall.
The main character was used throughout the series by the female character, which made the ending a lot sadder.
The question is did the female character love the main character/protagonist (Young Gul) or the antagonist(Jae-hyuk) this whole time. The impression that the series gave is that the protagonist was in the middle of the female and the antagonist.
The female protagonist is a spineless women, this is given showed by many examples throughout the series. The female character ended up with the antagonist even though she knows how the antagonist's family really is and the effed up life the antagonist lives. The last scenes also implied that she knew about the hit(the death of Young Gul).
A) She didn't want to see Young Gul in New York. B) At the time of the Young Gul's death, she stayed up all night long . C) She didn't seem shocked by the gunshot noise.
The hit was definitely ordered by the antagonist's father. The father is a cruel man that constantly beats his son. Not to mention that the Young Gul caused the father's company to lose $150,000,000

Well... I have to agree with you. I think the ending was awesome because of how shocking it was to find out that Lee Ga Young was just using Kang Young Gul the whole time. They introduced her as the cute, hardworking and talented young girl and she ended up as the manipulative, cold-hearted b***. What bothered me though is that I hated all the main characters more and more as the Drama continued on. The only person who I kind of liked was Choi An Na, but she really didn't turn out to be one of the main characters like they announced. I will admit though that I'm a bit biased, because I only started watching the drama because of Yuri, but let's be honest... An Na was the only one who didn't give me this feeling of 'I am just hiding my real face'.
Meet the characters:
Kang Young Gul seemed to be an okay guy until he started to become more and more arrogant and reckless aswell. The only thing that mattered for him is to take down Jae Hyuk and to have Ga Young for himself. I guess the thing with the pendant was kind of adoreable, but keeping up this childish war with Jae Hyuk appearantly was more important than 'love'. ->This is the guy you pity at first, then like him, then start to hate him because of his need to provoke everyone and his begging to get hit in the face real quick. Drama queen.
Lee Ga Young I hated because she always played the victim and was really selfish. I couldn't see the end coming though. Well, I guess I kinda like her a bit more and hate her a bit more after seeing that. ->This is the character you like at first, but you get sick of her because she bounces between the two idiots only thinking of herself. Also a drama queen.
Jung Jae Hyuk just came across as an arrogant a-hole who thinks he's better than anyone who has less money than him. A guy who can't accept a 'no' because he always had everything he ever wanted without working for it. He recklessly chases after Lee Ga Young and looks really stupid doing that. ->This is the guy you'll hate, pity for a second and then hate again for the rest of the series.
Choi An Na just didn't play a big enough role, but no matter what the other characters did, she always seemed to get hurt and disappointed, but play it cool. Also, An Na was the only character who didn't just lie all the time. ->This is the character who you don't like at first, but turns out to be okay as you 'really got to know' her. Pity you never really got to know her.
Well... what am I blabbering on about. It wasn't too bad overall. At least the writers did keep me wondering until the very end. BUT they should have named the drama 'DRAMA QUEEN' instead of 'FASHION KING'.

I've already expressed my anger and frustration in the k-drama thread.
EPs. 1-4 were actually awesome and that's why I decided to give it a shot till the end although everything became terrible as soon as he was released out of prison.
A few notes on my Part:
- I also think that the culprit behind the assassin was the chairman who was angry lol and LGY and JJH probably knew about it since it's unrealistic to not react to a gunshot otherwise, so in that regard I agree with you.
- Who was Anna talking to before leaving for Italy?
- Which money did KYG take exactly? It's kinda weird seeing him from one moment not being able to organize a 200k fashion show for Ga Young and begging Jae Hyuk for money, to stealing 150 Million from J-Fashion,
For the first time ever since Iris I had to go full crazy netizen mode and asked myself: FUCKING WRITERS ARE YOU BRAINDEAD?
cheers, k2h was awesome btw
