It's not a fun environnement in general and the people that are supposed to be "great" people since they're in medical sciences are unfortunately, from my experience, pretty bad people in comparison to people in simpler fields. You get gossipers and just plain terrible people every where obviously but of all the jobs I've had nothing came close to being as bad. Of course I'm generalizing; overall they are good people... but the stress breaks pretty much everyone down to some level. Considering pharmacy is a lot more laid back in general than medical school, I can imagine how bad it gets. | ||

Constant competition : people trying to screw each other and grades based on class average, people always talking about their patients/other students in derogatory ways, losing your sanity at the amount of stuff going on, etc. It's not a fun environnement in general and the people that are supposed to be "great" people since they're in medical sciences are unfortunately, from my experience, pretty bad people in comparison to people in simpler fields.
