Bomber earned his trip to Vegas thru the IPL QUALIFIER. While that pays his flight why should that win his team an extra roster spot in A DIFFERENT LEAGUE THAT SO HAPPENS TO BE THERE? lol i see an angry antifan of ST. It doesnt matter how big your roster is, you can only pick 5 people in a BO9, even if it is bo11, you can only pick 6 people, so a bigger roster doesnt give Startale the advantage. It does when it comes to matchup sniping and for the other team's prep. It'd be harder to prep for 9 players than 6, for example. I dun think any team that makes it into the final has such a deep line up that they have more than 7 great players of equal skills. For example , even if prime can send their entire team over, you only need to prepare for Annyeong, BBongBBong, Creator, Ghostking, Marineking, Maru and possibly Terious, and you wouldnt need to worry about the other people no matter how many there are. Surely, they can send other people to play, but sending anyone else means that 1 of their top players( Ghostking, Marineking, Maru, Creator, BBongBBong) cannot play which would be silly, since their chance of winning against the top players of startale would be somewhere like 1%. So allowing your team to bring 5 core players + 2 snipers is more than enough for the lineup of any team to support.

Prime is not that deep a team, since they have some 'must-play players', but MVP is a fairly deep team: T1: DRG, Genius, Keen, sC T2: Monster, finale, Noblesse, Sniper, Tails, Vampire
so does, for example, FXO: T1: Oz, Gumiho, Lucky, Leenock T2: asd, tear, choya, thebest, whale.
Anyone from T2 could conceivably play, and they could all practice some insane matchups.
I think sending 9 over instead of 7 would alleviate some of these problems :D

Yea, looks like they're allowed to take more than 7. Although I guess only 7 can actually enter the IPL4 Open Bracket?

DRG. My second favorite player. I thought his style was slump-proof. Such an idiotic thought.

no. anyone can enter the open bracket, its a matter of if it is full or not, it is just that 7 slots are booked each for the two teams.

Ever since GOM started playing Rebecca Black, the song has been stuck in my mind >_>

Damn was rooting for MVP, but StarTale has quite the lineup! Not even used July or Bomber.

It was "This is my moment" actually.

You think having an extra player in the roster is unfair? What about Startale now sending their entire 17-player-team over to Las Vegas. HAHAHAHAHA

Genius is just as much of an ace player as marineking imho.

It's the Artosis curse man...
The only one that's been somewhat slump proof is MMA, who has been doing just better and better since his GSTL showings and his 2nd place at Super tournament. And Artosis bets against MMA like literally EVERYtime he's up against someone half decent.
edit* On a more serious note tho, it's probably just the way SC2 is, on top of the the format of GSL. You lose 2 Bo3 and you're down to Code A, and people start calling it a slump if you've won anything major. But reality is, SC2 is a very volatile game, a lot of the times, one SHORT engagement ends the game. Even if you have 65-70% win rate, it means you will eventually lose here and there, and it just so happens you lost two sets in a row that day; then everyone will be screaming slump on you for awhile cuz the next season is in 2 months

poopypoopypoopy. drg losing to squirtle and genius losing to curious...

Well, MMA is in a 'slump' himself... Didn't make it through the winter arena KOR qualifiers, lost to Choya in GSTL, got knocked down to Loser bracket in spring mlg KOR qualifiers by Choya again...

Are you trying to take credit away from Curious and Squirtle? Because both are 2 amazing players.

STQ in the finals yayyyyy Curious and Squritle stepped it up with 2 kills a piece

Wow, I didn't think Curious would do so well.

DRG taken out...yikes...is he in a slump now? lol...losing Code S convincingly and not playing well at all in regular games
