This event was about fun and charity with a little incentive by TB to make things more interesting for the pros. It was his idea, his money and his tournament, so it is beyond me how and why people are turning this into a mudslinging. I was particularly disappointed by Huk's display of manners. BM to a certain degree is fine and was obviously encouraged, but the jab at TLO was very, very low. I think it talks volumes that TLO, who is usually a very cheerful person, didn't respond to that. I have no comment for Huk's actions after the match had ended. As one of the best sponsored SC2 players, I expect a more mature attitude from him towards a bloody _charity_ event. Perhaps he should play more cups à la Playhem Daily if $250 matter so much to him. Despite this rather ugly turn of event, I hope we haven't seen the last of monobattles yet. I enjoyed it profoundly and hope for a remake. Wow! 26K?!? I wonder how many more wanted to watch and couldn't, I got the time zone wrong, it was over before I woke up in the morning. Also plenty had work. Will watch that vod! I haven't even seen it and it's great, TB is the bomb, Chill is the bomb, idea is amazing- cannot fail!

TB obligingly provides a single Bo5 final in a showmatch tournament (let's be honest here) and the drama goes ballistic. I'm sure we have *different* people disappointed in each case, I'm just saying...

A great event nevertheless, but EG being 1-0 up in the finals would have been enough. Had that happened...........the outcome would have been the EXACT same. anyone complaining about this tournament (Even if it's minor complaints) really needs to calm down. TB paid $1,000 of his own money to do this, IN ADDITION TO THIS, he also donated ALL of his ad revenue to charity. wtf have all of you negative nancy's ever done for the SC2 eSports community? Please just say thanks to TB and then kindly stfu.

So here a double elim bracket was used to solve the problem of "we have 4 teams but we only need 2" and once it did that, the finals were played. Group stage before bracket is the same thing but with different numbers. It's so the finals mean more on their own. If one side has an advantage going into the finals, the finals are cheapened when that side wins. This avoids that. It's a compromise between having a real finals or having a tournament with memory.
