Didnt know TL logo has copyrights? didnt a company just straight up copy the banner and get away with it? "Zebralightning Studios" has since changed their logo. Of course TL has copywrites, you know Hot_Bid is a lawyer, right? Haven't you ever looked at the bottom of the page: "The contents of this webpage are copyright © 2002-2012 Teamliquid.net. All Rights Reserved" I don't know what the situation is here, but if this wasn't cleared with TL this King of the Web company did something stupid. A lot of times companies will go after people over stuff like this simply because if you don't it can hurt your chances of defending your copywrites or trademarks against future illegal usage. -edit: apparently this was cleared with Nazgul?

In fact most stock website designs come with it there and you just change the name to yours...... even those without any legit copyright, including my sites lol. I'm sure TL (being a registered company) has copyrighted their logo, web code and whatever else they need to but that little disclaimer at the bottom of the site means jack shit... Anywho, nice one TB.... shame it couldn't be up in a real city like London ;p

Well obviously TL approves of your usage so this is a pointless disscussion. But since you brought it up, and I have a love of pointless discussion, I was led to click on that link and come across the following: If you have a photo that happens to include the Coca Cola logo, (or any trademarked item), the question as to whether a release is required has nothing to do with your having the image, nor your ability to license the image; but rather, how the person who buys the image puts it into use. If that use implies an association, or relies upon the good will of the logo, then a release may be required or desired. But that decision is made by the licensee, not the photographer. This is actually kind of interesting, the whole thing swings on the usage of the photograph and whether an argument can be made as to whether the logo is promoting whatever the photo is being used for.

Because you seem to be incapable of utilizing common sense or sarcasm, to put it bluntly. I'm pretty sure those T-shirs are sold with the intent of people showing off while wearing them, multiple hosts were seen wearing that and other shirts while casting on camera. Did they ever ask anyone ? Also Nazgul's posts was poking fun at you for looking for problems in an entirely harmless thing.

Also, why would I know anything about the shirts? All I said is that he might need permission from TL, and if you are correct and the shirts were given out specifically for casters to promote TL then there wouldn't be a problem. But since I don't closely watch the TL caster shirt promotion news everynight, I don't know anything about this. I'm so very sorry my information on this clearly pressing issue of paramount esports importance is unsatisfactory. -.-
