But I really don't like 'midtier' Koreans leaving for foreign teams. I would be really surprised if a TOP foreign team would want to pick him up since they are usually only interested in the big names.
Don't get me wrong I hope everything turns out well, but it feels like a really big risk that might turn out to be the wrong choice. funny thing is, among foreigners, Golden's a top player. he could still be an asset, no? he's able to hang in there with anyone I don't doubt that at all. But most foreign teams that are interested in signing Koreans sign the 'top' Koreans. That's why it feels like a big risk to just leave ur team and hope u get signed by a foreign team. Assuming that he isn't contacted by a team yet. This thread isn't about that, I don't see why people continue to bring this up when nobody knows what's going through Golden's mind, who has contacted him or not, etc.
What a lovely letter, SlayerS seems like such a great family to each other =)
Golden and SlayerS fighting!

Why post such a thing publicly, though, unless you want to be praised by fans for it?
Won't it be even more meaningful if it was private, between the player and his former team?

What a great goodbye note. This just adds to what I see from their twitter and facebook photos, SlayerS isn't just a team, it's a family.
Good luck to Golden in the future.

Wow T.T Amazing letter, and what an amazing "family". GL Golden!

Won't it be even more meaningful if it was private, between the player and his former team? Some people want to not just share the love and care they have for others with those people alone, but also want everyone to know how they feel.
When you're just engaged, don't you run off telling everyone? You don't keep it to yourself to somehow make it more meaningful...

Why would any public figures apologize about their mistakes to the media, wouldn't it be more meaningful if it was private? A totally irrelevant comment. This letter advertised the team whether Golden intended or not, that is a good thing for the team.
You seem to be looking at things in a negative way.

Why did HuK post a letter like this when he left TL? Because it's nice and it lets you sympathize with everyone.

That part made me giggle uncontrollably - with the image of pirate doodle on the screen behind Ryung.

That was so sad ;_; I hope he returns someday. What a touching, heartfelt, and sincere letter.

This day in age with shady dealings and negativity all over the place, a letter like this is a breath of fresh air. I want more of this in my ESPORTS, not back hand dealings and drama llama.
Thanks for translating, certainly put a smile on my face and a tear in my eye, in a good way. Too rare that that happens.

oh man. i bet there was golden showers of tears.

I was a mod on goldens stream for a few days when he used to stream daily. He would respond to every person that asked him a question and was very nice to everyone. He even would translate everything if he didnt understand it. He is a great guy and I hope he achieves great things.

T_T so cute! SLAYERS HWAITING

Great closure to the issue!
Abit of a sidetrack but I find it interesting that Coca was not mentioned. Probably didnt have much opportunities to integrate with the team due to the ban shortly after he transfered to Slayers. I wonder if he actually got any chance to practice at the teamhouse? A very promising player and I hope things go well for him.

Thanks for translating. Really sounds like SlayerS cares about their players, maybe that is their key to success. Best of luck to Golden in his future endeavors.
